What about Origin hype next year, guys?
>>150248491
Only Thunderbolt hype for me.
>>150248491
>Origin OVAs
>hype
>>150248675
This guy gets iteven though it goes full retard in the manga it's still better than anything Yas can shit out
>>150248675
Second part of thunderbolt isn't anything special
>>150249184
Can't have every arc be stellar. At least the currently translated arc for Johnny Ridden is escalating, but it will probably never get adapted.
>>150249886
>it will probably never get adapted
This really really hurts. I wish Sunrise would put Arc Performance in charge of writing a Gundam show, although that sort of seems to be what they're doing with Twilight Axis.
>>150249184
It's dumb as shit but it should have some beautifully animated battles, and the Feddie characters are at least still great.
>>150248949
>it's still better than anything Yas can shit out
Only when concerning fight scenes, everything else is about equal in quality at best.
>>150248491
Why would they allow someone with an eye condition to join the military?
>>150248949
that reminds me, the GBF OVA is coming out next year too
>>150250133
>everything else is about equal in quality at best.
If only
IF ONLY
Thunderbolt is nothing original amidst the sea of OYW grunt sidestories, but what it at least manages to be polished. The Origin OVAs are the Star Wars prequels of Gundamand the other original unadapted stuff in the manga gets pretty bad too
Sayla should have stayed a witch loli.
>>150250351
>The Origin OVAs are the Star Wars prequels of Gundam
If that's the case, then Thunderbolt must have an equivalent in one of the more lower-quality EU stories.
>but what it at least manages to be polished
>If only
The only thing it really does better than Origin are the fight scenes (as I've said), but even then they don't make up for much.
>and the other original unadapted stuff in the manga gets pretty bad too
Which matches up with the drop in quality for TB's story (as you've mentioned) later on, but I can't blame either Yas or TB's author; "good writing/storytelling" and "Japanese people" seems to almost genetically be mutually exclusive.
