It looks similar to the latest character designs of Ichigo Mashiro, but at the same time it is also a bit of a current trend in cute character designs, the rounded, neotenous aspect. That said Katsuwo's other manga are NOT similar to that vibe, like Hitoribocchi no OO Seikatsu and Kin no Tamago.

He's been around for a while as just, like, a pixiv artist. Mitsuboshi Colors is probably his best thing.
