I used to do this, then I learned how unfulfilling it was to request for the sake of a delivery. Drawfags were really easy to bait back in the day, very easy to manipulate into drawing for you with choice posts and indirect responses. To be fair the drawthreads are a bit different from the generals that are the problem with /a/ right now. These have been a sort of an exception to the rule because they provide OC and it has been working fine for over 5 years. The problems with these drawthreads are mainly off-board requests and pointless drama, not the thread itself.

When people complain about generals they mean a series having a constant chatroom-thread going on without any real discussion or purpose besides having the thread.
