To be honest it may be the nth time I'm saying all this, and feel a bit sick discussing it all, but I get the feeling It's always good to play devil's advocate once in a while.

I think S1 was below average, with around half of the episodes completely uninteresting.

S2 is very good but could have been much better. What bothered me isnt the Fuwari arc but how things were handled like Hibiki. I think Hibiki could have been a great vilain but they wrote him into a corner of stupidity. They also wrote all the other characters so they always act in a very stupid way. To take an example, I think how Biba completely ruined Kabaneri is the exact same situation as PP s2. If the staff didn't write Biba in such a lazy dumb way (and if the show had more than 13 episodes) it could have been a masterpiece.

Haven't started s3 yet.

As a whole what I dislike about PP is that I feel it's lukewarm and doesn't go all the way with the ideas it has. Sometimes it lures you into thinking they'll do something really interesting, but only end up doing something slightly interesting. It's like watching someone you like screw up.

There's also how the show can't decide on it's identity, and will sometimes act in a very serious way, and sometimes in a very stupid way.

I wish that one anon who kept screenshoting continuity errors like those elevator lights with floors changing at every shot would return. You could say that's on purpose and PP is actually a masterpiece because the PriPara world is magical, but I hate these kinds of self justifications. The show is lazy. I don't think I lack imagination. I have the wildest dreams about Akaii Meganee so I don't think that's the case.

One could say the humour in PP just isn't my cup of tea, and while that may be true, it's mostly because the characters or situations I like or find funny never appear.Or are only slightly teased at.

It worse to me since his style is closer to Yaguchi's than it is to Aikei's. Stars' character designs are pretty loose in the first place, so they don't clash as much as OG's did when drawn in other styles. QUALITY is less noticeable too because of it.
