NT17 was weird. The first three chapters were completely off at times. No one should be able to justify the use of high pressure water canons followed by mach 7 emulating fans against citizens in the middle fo fucking winter.
Sure, they only used them against citizens who didn't turn in their weapons immediately, but fuck that was too much.

The shitposting story line was also off, but still bearable.

As far as girls go, having a horde of girls running around Kamisato feels all too convenient and bland to me. It's like Doraemon's pocket, if Kamisato is faced with situation X he calls on a girl who is more or less perfectly equipped to handle X on her own. This means that Kamachi can pull whatever bullshit he wants regarding Kamisato now that he has returned because he can just develop a previously unnamed girl in the harem to fit the narrative's needs.
