The epilogue, as well as basically every other summoning seen in the series, implies that most of the servants are experiencing their summoning in roughly the same order as the audience sees them, so he got his comfort that it wasn't a mistake.
CCC Archer looks at his F/SN self and basically says "man I really needed to calm the fuck down".
(Some servants are experiencing summons out of order, but for convenience's sake most are in order. Mordred in Grand Order chapter 6 for example is out of order, not knowing any previous summonings.)
