Most notably is the new card D/D/D Knowledge King Tomb Conquistador. I'm hyped, this is the first business class D/D/D in a long time. First, the name. 識慧王 is again, a very clever pun indeed. When pronounced aloud, Shikeio sounds very similar to the business title CKO. The CKO is the Chief Knowledge Officer is the business professional responsible for dealing with both intellectual property and the effective management of resources and business practices. This explains the pendulum effect turning the contracts cost into a benefit. The kanji of the word itself uses the character for awareness followed by the kanji for honor, creating knowledge.

The second half of the name "tomb conquistador" is somewhat unique compared to the rest of the D/D/Ds. Traditionally, the title would be some phrase or word related to the end of the world, such as apocalypse, Armageddon, ragnarok and Kali Yuga. Instead, Conquistador refers to those voyagers, such as Cortes and Pizzaro, from Europe who traveled to the new world and conquered empires such as the Aztecs and Mayans under the guidance and blessing of their country's royalty. This would explain why the monster is mostly purple, with yellow around the top. The yellow is shaped similarly to a crown and purple was a color traditionally reserved for the royalty to wear because it was thought to be a regal color.

Next, we'll look at the stats of the monster. At 3000 ATK and 2000 DEF, it has exactly 1000 more defense but the same attack as D/D/D Doom King Armageddon (D/D/D Shiio Hell Armageddon). It also is two levels higher than Armageddon and shares its general body shape. It's effect that prevents the activation of spells and traps when it battles can be seen as an upgrade to Armageddon's "unaffected by spell/trap effects that don't target" effect. The "arms" on either side, however seem to come from D/D/D Chaos King Apocalypse. Both of these end times predictions come from Christian beliefs. This ties back to the idea of this card being a Conquistador as most conquistadors came from Christian Spain who sought to obtain gold from the new world. This gold was often found in tombs, thus tomb Conquistador.

Under Reiji's current pendulum system, Reiji has no possible way of pendulum summoning this monster, given that he would need a scale 11 pendulum monster. This increase in stats and rank may again reference the position of the CKO. They are useful and important to their company, but don't fit into the traditional C class business system of CEO, COO and CFO.

Also, if you look closely at the non card drawing of the card, you can see that there appears to be a brain in the center of the monster. This, again, reinforces the idea of this being the Knowledge King and the CKO.

If I may deviate from the usual proceedings, I'd also like to take a moment to look over the attack names of the different D/D/D cards. Reiji is fairly unique, in part because he doesn't consistently spam one ace, such as BEWD,GEPD and RDA. Because of this, he also doesn't have attack names for all of his monsters. Alexander, Armageddon, Abyss Ragnarok, Beowulf, Siegfried, Apocalypse and Darius all don't have attack or effect names. Here is a brief overview of the names and their meaning.

>Genghis: Fire Stroke / References the certain type of heat stroke that those who over exert themselves during activity in the heat, such as fighting fires
