Actually I watched an interview with the editor(he's the one from Bakuman) and if I remember correctly I think Ashihara was the one that sped up the introduction of Miwa when he noticed things weren't flying so well. That's early on though

Reading the old chapters has made me think that the art style has not improved, just changed really.

The only thing I didn't like is Toei adding extra character traits not on the manga for the sake of ship teasing and fanservice, also I can't forgive that the filler arc had better animation than the cannon episodes

World Trigger is a manga that only gets better when you re-read it, there's a lot of things you miss on your first read, especially the first volumes.

I thought only I thought that but talking with other people from here or other sites, reading some reviews and whatnot I realized a lot of people think the same.

In fact the series editor mentioned that when he was assigned WT he re-read it 3 times and each time he found new stuff or realized something was foreshadowed early on.
