This ending was amazing. Nikkari is so haunting and the musical part is just too short to be so amazing but it is nevertheless. My favorite ending probably. It was genuinely scary at times and this made Nikkari made favorite sword boy.

Dub is hit or miss with the miscasting but I would blame ADR director and rush speed of simuldubbing more than the actors. Horribles ones so far (agreed across the board) are Naki, Ishikirmaru, and Imanotsurugi. There are clips floating around twitter if you search for Hanamaru English Dubbing in japanese

One of those things I hope original staff never hears. Japanese fans seem to like Nikkari, Doudanuki, are amused by the tantous saying "yes sir!" Etc. but sadly it's overall bad than overall good. I just want DVDs and BD that arent at Japanese prices. At least the Funi contract with CR will almost gauruntee domestic DVD rather than sitting in the home release rights and fucking it over like Free! Season 1
