Enough with this deathnote shamming! Its perfect from episode 1 to 37. The ending was great just like the beginning.

I watched it till the end but was pretty out of it after that thing happened.
However, Yagami had it coming. The ending was average.

The ending was good. It was the arc before the ending what was lame. It had good ideas, but if only Mello would have been the main antagonist instead of an L downgrade. I like Mikami a lot, personally.

The author should've let Light win. Then he could've shown everything falling apart naturally as politicians and big-shot executives incriminate their enemies to gain advantages. Light find out about his misjudgements, and he realizes his judgements are shit since he isn't omniscient and eventually he descends deeper into insanity.
