I just dropped it before the anime original episodes. Pretty nice until then I guess. OP is godlike.

All in all it was pretty good for such a low budget. I'd say it's one of JC Staff's better adaptions.

I don't mind changes or even quick anime-only endings, as long as they can lead into proper sequels.

The changes in this were extreme. It was an entirely different story after a few episodes, just the same cast +1.

I wouldn't mind if it wasn't so goddamn awful, Pandora Hearts suffered the same way. Some anime-only things can be alright, but that's a rarity and even then is because the setting and format allowed for it like Heavy Object.
