What surprised me though was that Taiwan did not board the ship, I fully expected Hiiragi waifuing it up with Global Standard. I also expected some kind of shower joke/ scene with GigaNiga and Kinoa.
But truly the peak of episode was GigaNiga, Zetsubi and Akihito ganging up on Fedora. God it was so cute and fun. And Akihito truly being broest of bros with his questions (and knowing it all) while Souya was all like "what the fuck mate, it's you didn't tell me anything" while Zetsubi was being in full cake baking process.
And that last scene was promising. At first I expected Durac there. Not Milfgiwa.

Not that I can think of. Probably just a continuation of already having started doing a Yu-Gi-Oh! x BBK/BRNK crossover piece with the Kaoruko x Yuya thing.
For starters Kaiba doesn't even have any presence in Arc-V and thus no connection with Yuya. But if you were to stretch things, Kaiba is part of an older generation, kind of like Reoko. And both Kaiba and Reoko have been these kinds of antagonists then sort of friends kind of types. Even if there is no direct correlation.

Just to clarify some things. Reoko may have put an end to a viciously anti-Bubuki regime, but her own regime was still gathering up all Bubuki users and were hunting Bubuki. Whatever they actually did to the Bubuki users themselves remain unclear, though if I were to bet it entirely depended on to what extent they were resisting and whatnot. Hiding Bubuki was a crime after all. But no matter the case they were no doubt rounding up and hunting Bubuki. Picture related.

As for why, I am not entirely sure. On one hand she was strengthening the power of her regime using said bubuki they were gathering. As they were distributed to their own approved agents, soldiers, and police. But I also imagine that it was an attempt to preserve peace, since the non-Bubuki users clearly had it out for Bubuki users and restricting Bubuki users might have been the only way to uphold "peace" with the non-Bubuki users.

As much as Reoko and her crew must have hated the previous government, I have never gotten the impression that they've been all too fond of the existence of Bubuki and Buranki in general. They, and Reoko in particular have all had to go through hell because of them. So in spite of using them frequently and extensively, in their ideal world I doubt they would have existed.

So going back to our main crew kids. They were all basically these punk kids and descendants of long and highly regarded Bubuki lineages, having inherited strong Bubuki. Putting them on the radar for Reoko and her crew, not to mention because of their close and obvious connection to Migiwa and her team. But having been persecuted by Reko's government ever since she seized power, all while most of the rest of society looked like it was going through a harsh recession of sorts. Whether or not it was a cause of Reoko herself or the Buranki. But from the kids' perspective, sticking it to "the man" aka Reoko and her regime must have been what made the most sense. Especially since she had their heirloom, Oubu.

Kinoa and Shizuru would probably be semi-alright with it, given their relationships with Souya and Akihito. Hiiragi and Kogane not so much, but given everything that's happened they're probably not going to oppose it forever. We really need to see how everything's going to end though. Your points holds water fairly well, but I don't really like the terms "hunting" or "persecuted" used there. For starters as you mentioned, we can't be sure what they did to the bubuki users, but considering all this started as a protection campaign I am almost sure they were fine. Still, their bubuki were seized probably for both Reoko's armory and their own good. Zetsubi's anger was shown the most, but I'm sure it's safe to say everyone shared her opinion on the government's massacre of the bubuki users. Reoko herself I doubt would hate the buranki themselves as she has shown no such signs so far. Only thing she openly hates is Migiwa, and for good reason. Agreeably her plan to show the buranki to the masses as a way to somehow solidify her fleeting existence wasn't the brightest, but again she was 16 at the time, it must have made sense back then. Still, Migiwa's punishment was way too cruel, regardless of intentions, though anyway, am veering off topic. As for Azuma, he wasn't that against Reoko besides her calling Migiwa a witch. His team more or less convinced him to join them through what more or less were misunderstandings considering Kogane's anger was quite a big factor as well, but mostly they just wanted to keep hanging to their bubuki and not just give them to Reoko.
