In the eye of the hurricane there is quiet
For just a moment
I mean, whoever the traitor is, this is like killing a Nerfed Dumbledore
Still gonna be difficult but All Might's done for sooner or later
And you think this gives you power?
Let's just hope Hori doesn't go too nuts with Twice and Toga, else we're gonna reach Kingdom Hearts level of confusion
Personally I like the interpretation that Toga kinda knows exactly what AFO's plan is but also doesn't fucking care
Toga is better as a force of chaos than as the main antagonist. So far she's been very good at stirring the pot without taking over the plot
I mean what the fuck do you want? Toga's driving the plot and you retards thought she just disappeared wwwwwwww
Oh and Kemi can't be Toga because Kemi is a slime girl right wwwwwwww
>I wanted to be King of Evill
These two thoughts are completely contradictory. If you consider yourself evil and only care about power, then you don't have any ideals, you're just an evil asshole.
Not to mention, I believe that villains are more interesting when they don't see themselves as evil, because who does?
>implying she won't accidentally eavesdrop on Deku and Bakugou's little talk next chapter.
>Toga will never sink her canines into your throat
Not all Comic Book Villains see themselves as evil, like Lex Luthor, Magneto, Doctor Doom, Norman Osborn, Sinestro, Black Adam, Gorr the God Butcher...
They see themselves as the hero of their own story, they believe that what they're doing is right and the heroes are wrong for opposing them.
Yeah he's gonna try to body hop. Hopefully gets BTFO cause old men suck as villains even when they make themselves young.
Fuck off /co/ no one cares.
That would actually be a very cool development. Plus it would follow up on how she witnessed Deku telling Bakugo about the borrowed Quirk from a distance. Or as she put it "the fated encounter between men".
Lex doesn't give a crap about people though, he sees people as pawns to use that must obey and worship him.
Black Adam at least genuinely cares about the people of his country.
That was just Mark Waid. And to be fair, it was part of a ritual to gain super magic powers.
Writers have since ignored that story. Hickman's FF and Secret Wars run re-cemented him as the bad guy that thinks he's the good guy, helping out the heroes quite often. Doom has probably spent more time doing good things than bad things lately.
And now he's just straight up Iron Man.
>mfw you said that to make more people post Toga
What about this guy? He's a villain, right?
I like this guy a lot. He's fucking great, villain or otherwise.
Also did anyone else get aroused by this scene? ... just me?
The deuteragonist knows the protagonist secret before everyone else
What's the problem here?
This is worse than Ochako hateposting
I'm too busy analyzing the fucking shit out of it to get aroused
This chapter mentioned a sentiment - AFO wants to be "like All Might"
We all know he fucking doesn't, the Old Man just wants a hot new Shiggy Body, but there's something going on here about "likeness"
Yeah. The second issue came out yesterday.
I really like the idea of villains suffering from mental illness or just really messed up personalities related to their quirks, but I can't really think of any other than those two at the moment.
Yes, but this is capeshit (in a hs setting, because japan) from the times when the big two weren't so desperate for sales they'd prostitute most of their IPs to whatever controversial hipster trend they could find.
Alternatively, this is capeshit from outside the big2.
>when the big two weren't so desperate for sales they'd prostitute most of their IPs to whatever controversial hipster trend they could find.
You mean when Speedy was doing heroin, or when Green Lantern tried to fuck an underage alien?
>in the end, you just want to be who that person is
>toga's quirk is stealing identities
>toga's love interest in the moment is deku
That's what we call foreshadowing, guys.
Bit of a slowpoke, but beyond the general abilities and "wanting to know more" about Deku, there was ample foreshadowing that Kemi = Toga.
When Ochako gets flustured at seeing Kemi, she recalls these words.
"You wanna be just like that person, right?"
Same shit Toga said to her.
It's Hiveswap but I don't wanna derail the thread with an image so ill delete it. I'm just saying I'm so fucking engaged right now. Next week can't come soon enough
Man what a chapter. What a ride.
Damn Tartarus is a fucking torture, I'd rather receive death penalty than stay for the rest of my life like AfO, even though he will most likely escape.
Wonder if that kind of imprisonment is for all prisoners, I remember Stain being tied like that but for someone with that kind of quirk that seems like a bit of a overkill.
>Hori will never do a a series of Boku no hero elseworlds
>we will never see a universe where AFO was the hero of JUSTICE
>No Might makes right All might
Do you think that if Grapes walked in on these two fucking he would be:
a) heartbroken / angry
b) whipped it out and started graping it
c) apologize for the intrusion and humbly walk away trying not to think about it like a normal person.
Tbqh, I like the dick rival but everyone calls him out for it and has no edgy backstory
He could be a lot better, but it's refreshing to have a dick being a dick, especially being pretty smart
ok catching up on threads i managed to track this down
this is what you want
this is the prequel to it
I actually found it a while ago but didn't post anything because the thread was kill.
Thanks anyway anon!
Can't wait until the traitors are finally revealed and start fucking shit up.
And then Deku died. Mission accomplished.
Oh come now, no matter who it is they'll be shitposting
Such is the nature of these things
I'm loving this manga lately. Those last two chapters and their HQ feeling. I'd love to see more chapters telling the villans history and motivations, see more of the All Might's nemesis, see him pulling the string from behind with his twisted mind.
Exactly this my man, no matter who it is they'll shitpost so it's better to not even think who the traitor is, honestly what's the point? If there is a traitor(male) he has done nothing serious right? Everyone just needs to calm down.
No that's where I'd draw the line.
That'd be a twist for a twist, and it wouldn't make sense - Bakugou already had the chance to go rogue.
Plus remember the big tension with Bakugou is that he's a hero who is also an asshole - making him a villain kind of removes that interesting dynamic
I want to see where their dynamic goes. Baku just hating Deku forever would just get old, but them also suddenly being friends would be kinda lame too.
I want to see what grows out of this next chapter. Baku is the kind of guy to give grudging respect, even if it mean's he's just going to try harder, I wonder if Deku has earned some of it.
Because nomight looks very ghoulish.
Also someone talking shit to a demigod while theyre a demigod is one thing, talking shit to a demigod while they're weaker than even a normal person takes something special.
The dynamic is already changing. Baku doesn't sperg out specifically at deku anymore and is acknowledging his abilities. All might even said that he might have laid the groundwork for them being a great team in the future. I think people are ignoring baku's development because he's still is and will always be a foul-mouthed hothead
It's really weird that Bakugou is probably easily one of my favorite characters for the series as starting out I generally hated him and wanted nothing but to see him fail constantly. He's growing in such an interesting way but at the same time I like the character he's always been that we didn't see at first. He's a real deal hero and a complete shithead at the same time and that's kinda neat.
a classic way is to feed each person different bits of information and see how the enemy acts; the traitor is the one whose given information matches the enemies actions. unfortunately this school setting isn't really the place for that, and the "enemy" doesn't really do things like that, since we're not in an active war right now.
>He's a real deal hero
this is getting spammed everytime there's a discussion about bakugo yet we're 116 chapters in and he has yet to do something heroic
hell he's actually miserably failed the provisional licence exam
my problem with the character is that we've got all these people in the manga praising him for wanting to become a hero which is fine and all but there's never a reflection on what it means to be a hero and what he needs to become one, it's like his ambition is enough
Seriously, Baku is just a bully.
He's no better than a really good soldier at this point. He's still a fucking asshole, and to be the best hero, you need to be more than just being able to punch really hard.
FFS, this really is ultra gay. I thought anons were just shitposting. It's pretty funny how much it doesn't give a shit, though.
this panel. Could we have hoped for a better villain?
This scene is exactly why most Shonen stories could be solved by simply killing the villain when you could.
twists that won't happen:
>as it turns out the Bakugou you've seen since the "Rescue" is actually a clone made by twice.
>It thinks its Bakugou and IS 100% like him so it's not loyal to the VA or aware it's a clone
>The whole purpose of the clone isn't to infiltrate UA but rather to distract them while they noumu the real Bakugou
>Toga was made crazy by her quirk and is legit a super tragic figure
>She always kinda liked imitating people, and played around with her quirk a lot as a kid
>As it turns out she really basically turns into that person genetically; it isn't a complete facade. Regardless if their quirks work or not.
>She basically has something like a prion disease; her brain is a mess of small bits of other peoples' cells and proteins because her transformation quirk works WELL but not PERFECTLY biologically; bits of her target are left behind
>This combined with her base personality has rendered her batshit insane
We just saw half a Dozen people get dumpster fired last chapter and another four become hotwheels.
they try to making him a villian while being completely surrounded by ppl who could kill him in 1s and he still tells them to fuck off
what more proof do you want speed reader friend?
I swear All Might better not die. AfO probably has some next level keikaku shit going on. He was able to accurately guess how the outside world is reacting.
>I won't let Shigaraki kill me
>Yoshinori starts carrying a fucking gun on him
except not at all?
all that would do in this situation is prevent the possibility of them ever getting any information from him, right now AfO himself doesn't pose a threat but the plan he's already set in motion does, so killing him instead of capturing him after the battle wouldn't have done anything to help the current situation. It actually could've made things worse by inspiring shiggy's manchildly anger.
Is there a way to extract the pictures from this site?
those were nameless and faceless nobodies
This series literally did not let a single student, read: side-character fail the test that's supposed to be extremely hard and unheard of for first years to be doing and failed like 99% of the people taking it. Even those who "failed" get to take a makeup test and pass anyway because they passed the first phase of the test.
>mfw there's bound to be an eventual suicide mission for the hero boys a la the rescue arc in Naruto
>mfw the hero team will include Todo, Iida, Bakugou and Kirishima
>mfw they all get brutally injured by villains to the point where they either almost die or end up in comas
>mfw the actual for-real traitor will probably play a huge role in it
I just notice a pattern in shounen where there's big overhyped arcs that are supposed to be landscape-changing but usually result in the good guys getting BTFO and nothing good happening.
How do we know they all aren't toga?
how do we know we're not toga
Ignore this man, I'm sustained by (You)s
When will they get Tosh to draw all Jump heroines again?
Actually, what will be awesome is if Murata finds the time to draw an updated Jump all stars pin-up
Wasn't there an early Legion story when the Legionaire girls decided to all flirt with Jimmy Olsen and 'fight' each other over him, and then at the end just went "lol, we didn't actually care about you, we were just bored"? That, but with Deku and the female students, would make a pretty funny doujin imo.
It always amused me that Ichigo didn't get in on this color spread.
>AfO starts laughing when All Might leaves
>"for the rest of my life"
Well he already know he has quirks for extending his lifespan beyond what's natural, the only reason he's teetering on the edge now is because his body was mostly destroyed and he needs machines to replace his organs.
If Tartarus keeps him on the machines then the rest of his life is probably a really long time.
Who is asking for chocolate
why are they asking for chocolate
will this mystery ever be solved
And you wonder why most Japanese fully support their nearly 100% conviction rate justice system which don't allow any legal loopholes for criminals to escape from.
Admittedly that come with the very rare chance of punishing innocent people too but they don't mind.
Well you see, snickers work for humans, but these are mutant ninja turtles, quite different in fact from humans. If this is not the case, then there is a possibility that it would work if the magic ingredient isn't the snickers bar itself, but the processed oil inside it. If this same oil is used in the pizza, then it should work.
>I saw the recordings Tsuyu chan, Aizawa sensei he, he killed younglings.
>war is going on outside and around U.A.
>mineta is really worried, walks up to aizawa and asks him if everyone will be alright
>aizawa stares at him with cold eyes as he activates his quirk and steel scarf
I know who is behind this post.
I wonder how long it will be before a young group of heroes and heroines makes a name for themselves and name themselves after allmight?
Would be right up the authors alley and they'll end up becoming minor celebrities.
Really want to see some kind of heroic person who's going to do PR for them and get heavily into media to try and sway peoples hearts.
Maybe the laser navel kid is good at that kind of stuff.
Her quirk is "glycerine". Her skin naturally produces a film of moisturiser that constantly cosmeticise her skin
I read that there conviction rate has become more important than solving crimes.
So if a woman is killed, and it can't be solved in a reasonable amount of time they just bring in the husband, whether it points to him or not
It's like a surgeon who only takes on patients he knows he can easily handle, the stats become less accurate.
Doom has been a master of both science and dark magic since the very beginning.
Too bad he failed the first stage, so he's not eligible for the remedial course. It would have been top tier comedy with him, although just Icyhot, Blasty and Windy
and Smug-kun hopefullywill be funny as hell.
Now I'm at the alleyway TMNT fight, and half of it is people fucking talking. When did this turn into Bakemonogatari? Plus I find the end bit really weird, like that entire segment after he wakes up.
This. Ochako would never disembowel anyone.
You don't bully people that can turn you into meatballs if you piss them off anon. Bullies know not to mess with those stronger than them, they're cowards that pick on those they consider weak.
Nah, that's just vice sensational reporting a.k.a. video game style journalism.
Japanese have laws against perjury by cops themselves.
That's said, they are very aggressive in interrogating suspects.
Main motivation is helping her parents, money is just a means to an end
If her parents disapproved of what she was doing she probably wouldn't do it
She's a good girl
>the Broker paid Uraraka money to be a spy
Go through the stuff that got leaked.
1. The location and timing of USJ, but not the class A quirks
2. The location of the training camp
3. The fact that the villains would be raided was not leaked
Putting the three together, we get: someone who isn't directly involved with class A but knows the teachers schedules, was at the training camp, and wasn't told about the raid. The obvious culprit is Vlad, but Hori could be faking us out with 1 and/or 3. AfO could have known about the raid but not told anyone else and the information on USJ could have been obtained when Shigaraki let the press onto the campus and have nothing to do with the traitor.
>I knew what most of my friends were doing in school when we weren't in the same classes back in the day.
Except that it's clear that Class A and B aren't really friends, they rarely interact with each other. Quite frankly, from an academic perspective this is pretty dumb, they focus so much on being rivals that they don't bother helping each other out.
Aizawa should know their quirks and 13 wasn't involved in the training camp and they kept the info on it to a limited number of people to try and avoid leaks. Vlad's the one teacher who knows all the stuff that was leaked but also doesn't know all the stuff that wasn't leaked.
I'm sorry, but I just can't get back into Academia.
Post OFA/AFO fight it just seems so... boring.
When will there be a real big bad villain
It seems only natural that many of them would turn out to be criminals at the very least, because of how they resent the majority of the population.
That's why you'll always be a fucking normie
I imagine some would still be effective with a little bit of creativity.
Hell, Stain's quirk relied on him licking your blood, which means you can consider him quirkless until he lands a slashing or piercing wound on his opponent and uses it.
Speaking of, I wonder what warfare looks like in this world. Conventional, standardized weapons or generic squad roles based on quirks?
Yes something like Lex Luthor. Or perhaps he's a boss of villains and he's somehow managed to use them / make them obey him even though he's Quirkless. Either through deception or maybe super rich etc.
>Speaking of, I wonder what warfare looks like in this world. Conventional, standardized weapons or generic squad roles based on quirks?
I'm gonna say that the Middle East is a complete hell hole at this point, with warring factions of Quirk-powered insurgents and terrorists fighting everyone.
Well of course not when you're going up against the original preptime bullshittery
Reminder that if Bakugou's dad was Izuku's dad instead and Izuku's dad was Bakugou's dad then their sons' characters would make much more sense. Bakugou should have been the one from a single mother household with a prostitute mom - just like Yusuke You'reameshi from YYH. Meanwhile Izuku gets the weak spineless Beta dad with a pathetic quirk, coupled with his own mom's pathetic quick and together their week genetics create a Quirkless kid with very low testosterone.
Yeah, or like the Kingpin, who has no powers but is still a badass that can hold his own against Spider-Man and Daredevil.
I think the best Quirkless "villain" would be someone who works in the system. Something like a lawyer or politician that crafts odd loopholes to get his constituents off scot-free.
Sorry Bandido, that role is taken
What is Denki's problem? (10,000 yen question)
a) he is retarded
b) he is short-sighted
c) he is the traitor
d) it was a mistake in the subtitles
>That's my secret, Cap. I'm always retarded.
>implying Endeavor thought second place was good
He got so triggered he worked his ass off to get number 1, and when he couldn't, he started an eugenics plan to make sure his child would.
Pretty good, too bad I'll never be able to unhear him as Piccolo
>mfw mineta's voice
Marvel is the one where every single civilian is an ungrateful piece of shit who spends every waking hour of their life blaming heroes for everything bad that happens to them, just like in OPM.
Yeah, I forgot my picture anon.
He looked so young there, it's like he was willing himself to stay young until his kid was ready to take his place, then Todoroki used his fire for the first time and he instantly aged 20 years.
All Might is best dad. Look at this bonding.
X is a far better and less generic villain than Y and the idea that a bad guy only does things to be evil will never stop being dumb regardless of how much shonen I watch. Comparatively, the confrontation between A and B ended with a battle of ideologies regarding the theory of good and evil.
>please don't go, i can't even scratch my back here without people pointing their guns at me, i didn't even steal a quirk that lets me hibernate, we don't have tv here, we don't even have a radio
Kouji Kouda is the traitor/sleeper agent inside U.A. His talent for communicating with animals also works on Noumu; making him an ideal beacon that no one in their right mind would ever suspect of playing both sides.
Is something wrong, anon?
What if my waifu is a hero?
Even still, most likely.
I think(and hope) he is telling the truth, he is just a pure evil asshole and the only reasons he got handface was to fuck with All Might and because he knows he himself can't keep at it after he lost half his skull, so he needs someone to keep being a massive evil cock.
I hope he becomes a hero in some capacity
NOW I'M THE VILLAIN IN YOUR HISTORY
I WAS TOO YOUNG AND BLIND TO SEE
THE WORLD WAS WIDE ENOUGH
FOR BOTH IZURU AND ME
CAN I BE REAL A SECOND
FOR JUST A MILISECOND
LET DOWN MY GUARD AND TELL YOU HOW I REALLY FEEL A SECOND
Are you suggesting she loves herself?
Cause the full context is that Ochako wants to be like Deku, which isn't necessarily proof of her being a good guy(in fact this particular chapter suggests a horseshoe theory of hero and villain), but it's definitely proof that she cares about Deku
Doesn't matter if AfO actually believes it, the notion of legacies and being the villain to a hero is a recurring theme
Same with the notion of "if you try to be like someone you will eventually seek to replace them."
Toga and Twice have hammered this theme in. Toga by saying "I love Stain so much I want to kill Stain and become him", and Twice by literally saying "My copies quite literally kill each other to become the "real" me."
So wanting to be just like someone else - and being driven to conflict because of that desire - is a clear theme going on in the manga.
