Probably. I'm the same way. Although there might be a couple of other reasons, as well.

There might be other reasons, as well, but I'm a frequent fapper as well - when I stop for a while (read: at least 4 days, or a week) I feel a lot more energetic.

a lot of sleeping can make you tired too, that's one of the main problem of shut ins. they sleep 16 hours a day and still feel tired because their hormones get fucked up

Huh. I was indeed a shut-in for a while, but I never allowed myself to sleep much for some reason. I slept for ~6 hours, tops.
I wasn't the kind of shut-in that spent all of his time inside, though - I was hiking a lot, and I was taking photos.
I can't imagine staying cooped-up inside your room all day; for a long-ass time, too! This just wouldn't be good for you, mentally.
