Final Act was 26 for the last third of the series, and the pacing was so fast in some episodes it was hard to keep track of what the hell they doing. They walk into a town, find a demon, it gives exposition, they kill it, and move to the next town, all in the span of 5 minutes.

You could probably condense the first two-thirds into 52 episodes, but I'd say give it like 64-76 so they can keep some breathing room but still be less than half the length of the original anime.
