Great Red is literally the biggest motherfucker in the series, so big that the only place he can stay in is Dimensional Gap, he's just the reason Ophis even does anything in the series, she just wants to kick him out of her turf

There's a number of changes made to Akeno's arc for example, it kept going until the fight with Loki in the novel(as opposed to happening after Loki like in the anime) and had a bit more of an actual ending iirc, Sona's group also got shafted since they were supposed to have a rating game against Rias, which would help showing their abilitties(which is kiiiinda relevant to events further down the line when Issei has to work with them for the time being) and supposed to give Saji a pretty huge moment despite being inferior in pretty much anything to Issei, as a side not, Saji having a bit more of an "armor" in the Loki fight in the anime is result of them speeding up the events, it was only supposed to happen in 4th seasons Kyoto arc
Last two episodes with Loki and Rias are filler which only serves to give anime-only fags some sort of closure regarding Rias sometimes being sad around Issei, which is pretty dumb considering this is what vol10 is focused on, which is part of S4
Seriously if they bothered to add this damn filler they could have at least sped up Ross joining the group so she could go with them as opposed to stayin and doing nothing

It was supposed to be Rias and fucking Vali team, the first instance of them actually working together and hanging out at Issei's place, the anime suffered greatly by cutting out that piece of character interaction and giving Vali a legitimate lighthearted moment as Butt Dragon

So anyway time for some data mine tier research.

In volume 1 Yuuma was mentioned 57 times, Raynare 60 times. In volume 2 and 3 there is no mention. In volume 4 Raynare is mentioned two times in pretty important conversations. This continues on in other volumes that mention the name Raynare, these all take place in important plot points to the overall story from Volumes 6, 9, 10, 12, 14, 19, 20, 22. So even if she is currently not here, it seems whatever some important detail needs to be seen her name is just placed out there. Ironically she has been mentioned in 8 volumes over multiple arcs
