Backgrounds are outsourced to a variety of different studios, A-1 doesn't produce them by their own means. And they're pretty all over the place as far as colour and artstyle, they're far too mercenary to really have a domineering aesthetic over their shows. I'm not saying it's not A-1, but I don't think anything revealed so far would work as conclusive proof that it is. People were pretty convinced Izetta was going to be A-1 and then that turned out to be Ajia-do.

A-1 seems like exactly the kind of studio to replace a VA with Yuuki Aoi to lure in more viewers and to do something that sounds as retarded as this does. Whoever it is it's obvious what's going on and why in any case and the whole preservation of seiyuu thing clearly isn't what it used to be in the modern ACJ dominated era.

That said not even sure why this show is worth giving a shit about in the first place. Like I said above it just sounds like your typical bad LN story with a war setting.
