Why do most anime characters not have any lips ? Does anyone

It usually looks weird when they do have lips.

Yeah. The character I posted was the main villain and supposed to be the hottest girl, and no surprise, she's the only female with lips. She looks like crap 80% of the time in the anime though.

Easier to draw
but also because the way cartoons work is by simplying reality, this is also why their skin is so smooth unlike real skin that has all kind of pigment disorder in it, hair, wringles, weird skin texture on close up, veins under the skin etc.

Animator already bitching when they draw modern anime eye that have too many details.

Most cartoon characters don't have lips. People always have these special expectations for Japanese animation because they think it's special or something. They're cartoons, they don't need to anything.
