I mean, yeah, plot is curazy with slight bit of philosophy and religion but i quickly moved on.
People who were stuck watching this because there was nothing better on tv (in their opinion) were like, NGE or nothing, and praising it still in 2016.
It's the same with One Piece right now. It's not a simple flavour of the month thing but rather flavour of a decade.
