Correct me if I'm wrong, but I feel like Gamotan is some sort of ghost with a physical field that affects other ghosts, making them visible and real to living humans. Like when he and the four-eyes went to the professors house, four eyes mom did see them and could talk to them, and this episode Chiuy could wave at the taxi, but after four eyes went home alone, his mother couldn't see him.

Maybe it's because of the bugs the not-Umbrella talked about? Or it might be because of the key. Take this with a grain of salt though, since I haven't really been in these threads and thus the twist came out of nowhere for me.

Oh yeah, this came out recently.

It would be tough for you foreigners to read all the subs. You can barely concentrate on the scenes. But there are many hints. Also, we are familiar with these legends like Kotoribako, Kodoku, or Red crayon etc, they are like the murderer beneath your bed or vanished hitchhiker. But for western people, it would be hard to understand instantly.

This and Drifters were two of the few shows that I had any interest in. I decided to watch this since it seemed like it would have an actual story compared to Drifters.

Show started off terribly for me with how the conversations and humour were done - and fuck the male detective for being like this 100% of the time - but I guess Japanese like that shit. There were good scenes and some serious bits sprinkled throughout that kept me watching til now. It looks like the show will finally get really good.

Wait, I haven't been in the threads at all so I only know what's been going on in the show, so I know no spoilers. I also really like this show so I tend to watch it with a beer or two, which is relaxing in the moment but just because of the nature of alcohol I might lose focus or miss information. But what's all this about everyone being dead and living ghosts or some shit? We know some fishy shit is going on because of Gamotan being "dead" and Ryou-tas apparently has doing something the shadows, but all this info about consciousness flowing back and forth through time is new to me.

Some of their bodies are in the piles. The reporter wasn't seen by her colleagues while they were watching the news but she didn't realise it. She also had no reflection when she looked into a mirror. In that flashback where we see curse girl talking to her dead brother he has no reflection, no shadow and theres a reverb affect on his voice. After the end of the third episode some of the main characters are missing shadows and occasionaly have the reverb affect on their voices also
