>You will never have a love this pure
really makes you doubt.
Because the dude's a sperg. Didn't she like basically present herself for breeding purposes at the end and then MC-kun went like "Yes, it is very good that we are such very good friends, yes."
pretty sure this was another one of Satou's delusions (hell I'm pretty sure there was another delusions where he goes into a love hotel and does it with a married/engaged woman) or its a... CONSPIRACY
also I see NHK, I post this
Remember when the Flinstones was light hearted and funny rather than a half-baked critique of middle class life
>Show's morale is that you'll never change your hikkiNEET status by sitting around waiting for something to happen
>fuckwitted /a/nons instead take the meaning to be that they should twiddle their thumbs and wait for a magical pixie girl to come save them because they're really fucking special, then they get buttflustered when it doesn't happen and decide to blame the nonexistant girl for not existing
He was a loser and she was batshit insane.
They probably did eventually, but out of desperation not love. She is the kind of person that would fake pregnancy or threaten to kill herself to keep him on a leash.
He used to be a hikki and wrote the book from his personal experience, in the 2nd edition of the book he mentioned that he had a car accident and the PTSD gave a writer's block and he was just living off his royalties and slipping back into his old hikki habits.
He seems to have gotten better, seeing how he wrote another novel in 2011.
He's the kind of person who would verbally abuse her whenever he feels bad about himself, which would only make him hate himself even more, though he'd never apologise.
Or maybe I'm just projecting.
reminder that Satou fucks Misaki in the manga
>people still think it's inferior
He doesn't do it with Misaki in the novel.
You're probably thinking of Hitomi.
Can someone explain why Misaki and Satou were crazy?
I always thought Satou just had bad social anxiety, and his conspiracy theories came from browsing imageboards too much (does /pol/ ring a bell?). Misaki just seemed like a lonely girl who crushed on Satou and developed an obsession with him because he's male model-tier, much like the many waifufags on this board.
but make sure to grab 'em first.
No iteration of the story is inherently better or worse, but I feel that the novel lets you get closer to "Satou the narrator." This will make no difference to someone who cannot identify with him though.
Don't listen to that retard,
Manga > Anime > Novel
Just go by this for every series
The novel has a more serious tone and lots of stuff got watered-down or removed from the manga in favor of crappy attempts at le otaku humor
"I wore the black suit I had bought when I entered college so that I
would look like a prize recruit. I pulled a tulip-pink hat down low over
my eyes and donned dark purple sunglasses. Even I thought I looked
For his part, Yamazaki wore platform shoes to make himself about
four inches taller, put green contacts in his eyes—and on top of all that,
bleached his hair gold. I had no idea why he even owned such an idiotic
thing as platform shoes. Still, it was the perfect disguise."
Not saying the novel isn't better, but the manga has about the same tone and doesn't remove or water-down much at all. The anime does, of course.
>almost all of the drug references removed
>almost all of the rants and monologues removed
>filler up the ass
>that fucking finale
Yeah, nope just compare how they handled the reunion with Hitomi in the novel and how they handled it in the manga/anime
Basically all you have to do is listen to this at 11pm wherever you are
He's really off his rocker
A while now
I don't study actively now just read in my spare time. But when I did I made sure to do all my anki reps every day without fail and I studied for at least an hour every day. Doujins and h-manga were to be fapped to in Japanese no matter how slow I had to go, music had to be in Japanese, anime watched with Japanese subtitles too if I couldn't understand it raw and so on
Also if you know about /djt/ I would make it a point not to go there since it's full of trolling redditors
Your reminder that Misaki is for loving. Not bullying.
If things ever got bad enough I would go be with Misaki. She is my waifu because she is fucked in the head and she'd understand me.
Have you seen anything of NHK?
Satou gets hikky from social anxiety while in college, because he didn't make meaningful relationships and goals in high school, so he dropped out of college and the guilt of leeching his parent's money for no greater good keeps him from improving.
Misaki was abused as a kid and never makes any meaningful relationships, and never gets anything positive out of her activities and interests, hence why she feels that she causes pain for everyone she meets.
She likes him because he's more pathetic than she is.
>Satou gets hikky from social anxiety while in college, because he didn't make meaningful relationships and goals in high school, so he dropped out of college and the guilt of leeching his parent's money for no greater good keeps him from improving.
story of my life desu
>tfw you're a male version of Misaki
All the insecure older women are mine.
Remember guys it's not too late to change your hikikomori ways
It's too late.
>you will never have your own Misaki
Why bother living?
I think Satou had a bit more than just "Social Anxiety". He is like a Borderline Schizo.
Hello my name's OP and I'm a neutron star.
>lots of stuff got watered-down or removed from the manga in favor of crappy attempts at le otaku humor
That's completely wrong though. The anime is watered down and crappy version with the sugar sweet ending. The manga has suicide, sex, drugs, NTR and all the shit you couldn't put in the NHK anime and Misaki and Satou STILL get emotionally closer than any other iteration.
>almost all of the drug references removed
I mean Satou does way too much fucking drugs in the novel but at least they acknowledged it in the manga
