I don't know about AOTS contender, but so far S2 has been enjoyable. I don't really mind the supposedly shitty CGI. In fact, I think they have improved a bit.

Can't wait for Ajins to emerge victorious. Also, that American investigator is surely pushing his luck by mistreating his lapdog. He keeps threatening her and I think in the end she'll betray him.

The CGI can be a bit jarring sometimes, but it's way, WAY better than Sidonia was. Like, absurdly so. Facial expressions are great, the fights aren't bad, Izumi-chan is cute CUTE!, and Satou-san's shenanigans are so over the top that every time he appears I get happy.

Problem with Berserk wasn't really the 3D. Problem is that the director couldn't deal with the transition to 3D, so the scenes are terribly composed. There's a video I saw some time ago that explains that better.

In the manga after 1-2 episodes ago there's an arc where Satou and friends raids a building where the one secretary on the list and another guy are barricated in, they fight Nagai group, kill everyone in the fight that isn't an ajin, Tanaka decides to spare the secretary(she was on the list due to knowing about the ajin experimentation, but she regrets not doing anything), then everyone escapes, Satou and Nagai also have a bit of a showdown

Why are people saying the manga art is good? The artist doesn't seem experienced, he often draws a characters with exactly same pose and facial expression for several pages, sometimes it's carried over to next chapter even. And backgrounds look like they were drawn by Kubo.
