So is Zeta considered to be bad?
I was planning to watch the entirety of gundam, starting with 0079, which I thought was okay with some highlights untill post Jaburo where I fucking loved it.
I then started with Zeta but it didn't really grab that much, I watched it untill the episode were some random girl claims to be Kamille's sister.
I thought it was just fatigue for the series since I was following IBO before I watched 0079.
If Zeta is just considered to be bad I will probably just power through the last few episodes to get to the betterseasons.

Zeta is pretty rad but the pacing is sloppy and the ending just kind of stops instead of actually tying up the plot. The idea was, it just keeps going with ZZ, but the beginning of ZZ is fucking weird.

Like I said maybe it was a fatigue for the series in general, right after finishing IBO, I marathoned 0079.
That is why I am asking if it was just me or if it was just considered to be bad.
I haven't watched it since may or april, so I will rewatch it from the start and if it still doesn't grab me I may just watch the movies.

the pacing and Tominospeak are all over the place and it has a lot of great episodes/arcs that then follow through with the most inane bullshit. Also, and this is a more of a problem with all UC tv anime, it has many great characters that are developed very unevenly because it had to cram a fight in every episode, resulting in several of those characters just concluding their arcs in a very rushed manner before getting axed.
Also Katz and Sarah are fucking insufferable, but at least that got solved pretty nicely.
Zeta's my favorite and I love its autistic pace, but it is definitely a flawed work. At least ZZ worked for Tomino's favor in being ridiculous but fun

Various OVAs are good too but most of them either didn't satisfy me with their theme, like 08th MS team which was basically Romeo and Juliet, or had really big flaws to them like Stardust Memory which went full retard due to change of director.
As far TV series goes zeta was forgettable and I only remember few things about it. ZZ is a god damned comedy until it hits 20 episodes.

Funny how both 0083 and 08th MS have the same problem of going full retard the moment they switched directors. 08th MS just had to keep the Vietnam Gundam vibe it had in the first half instead of going on that stupid tangent with Aina in general and her stupid brother, and 0083 should've just kept ripping off Top Gun and it would've been just fine. A shame since both had undeniable animation quality and Gundam designs
