One thing that always bugged me in this show was the whole "eating fish is cannibalism" thing. Eating another MERMAID would be cannibalism, but not eating normal fish. It's be like saying humans eating ANY mammals is cannibilism. Especially odd for the whale guy.

I hear people praise this show a lot but I'm like 5 episodes in and it just seems to be an endless loop of the same "main character does something, gets misunderstood, gets violently beat up" over and over.
