I hate it more for the fact that these two designs were wasted on a forgettable show.

I'll always say Mekaku city actors. The pacing is all over the place. It never felt that the plot was progressing until near the end. The main characters, the ones that actually contributed something to the actual conclusion to the plot were poorly developed. Characters that actually didn't matter to the overall story got more development. It was one big mess.

That's why when this board discusses "this season's anime" people immediately ask what the hell happened to this board. Even as a horny 13 year old who just discovered harem anime I distinctly remember a scene in one episode where they're watching an in-universe TV show and they suddenly start dancing out of nowhere for a sudden minute. That was probably the first memory I have of me dropping a show. Not to mention there are MULTIPLE episodes where they couldn't write a proper ending and the show just abruptly ends out of nowhere. The anime is frustrating as all fuck.

I guess Kill la Kill is the one anime i actually completed and didn't really like. It had some good scenes scattered throughout but overall it was boring, forgettable and a poor attempt to follow up on what TTGL did much better.
