The monogatari girls have a little more dimension to them than the bog standard garden variety paper-flat moe girl characters. That extra dimension extends to how they're sexualized, too; where your typical moe character is sexual in a weird airhead or almost whoreish kind of way, the monogatari girls are sexy in a playful, teasing way that's still quite exaggerated but more in line with what women can identify with. Also, while they're all after ararararagi they're not creepily servile to him and can easily hold their own when called for.
