Hormones aren't for everyone, even if they want to be the opposite gender. The reality is the hormones and the surgery don't actually result in what most of them really want. It's the appearance of the thing without any functionality, and for many, that's just not enough, so they don't go through with it. Even the ones that do the hormones may not do the surgery.

Personally I'm for the Hormone blockers, long term. I wish they'd allowed that sort of thing commonly when I was a kid. I wouldn't have gone on female hormones, or gotten surgery, I'd have just stayed on the blockers so facial hair, armpit hair, crotch hair, the adam's apple and other things didn't develop.

Uh... It doesn't really work like that... You need some kind of sex hormones in you otherwise you will have issues like bone density loss and a bunch of other issues. Yes, HRT changes you a tad (some for the better some for the worse, although it's subjective) but it's better than looking like a full blown bloke. If you already look feminine or androgynous HRT will help you _a lot_. fyi im on hormones and im not getting surgery.

I actually did like the Aoi Hana ending but I could definitely imagine it being a little more fleshed out or not just end right after a time skip, it's one of my all time favorites mangas so maybe I'm a little biased lol.

Saorin reminds me of Ueno. She just needs all the drama all of the time.
