How the fuck did the dad encode 256 names in the ceiling tiles? The tiles I counted were ~32x32. Assuming we use Shift-JIS or UTF-8 to encode the names (~4 kanji per name, more efficient), and the name-dropped Baudot for the 10 symbols afterwards, you'd need 82 bytes per name, and that comes out to like 21 tiles to encode all 256 names, and there's way less than that.
