Next episode in 30 minutes.
No, this is one of the shows I'm most anticipating every week. Been genuinely intrigued with what's happening, kinda wanna just see if they drop the ball on that setup from last ep.
I really like how the detective actually does his job. Although he's a detective, he might be the first one to die/get killed as it seems that his detective job is just a cover.
Doujin Artist seems to be being set up as an antagonist. We might get a dj artist vs detective scene soon enough as they both know too much or all of it.
So I missed the stream, was there any confirmation on the cast being ghosts or anything? Gamotan and Journo chick are missing reflections, Miyuu and Sarai's body's were shown at the lake too.
He was only a namefag shitposting on the comments then, and now he's part of the crew/staff/gang that has direct contact with the admin (Gamotan)
Pls no ;_;. He knows about the call hypnosis (?) and pretty much everything so that is quite unlikely, I hope
>that preview was a red herring
>radio is turned off when Zonko speaks
Did she always have that doll?
Shun having child-like mannerisms despite being the oldest one makes him so cute.
SHUN A CUTE! A CUTE!
More of these strange images coming in and out of Gamons flashback.
I don't know anymore. Gonna stop overthinking and enjoy the ride.
>when did Sarai talk to Myu about Gamotan
>This seems like a series to binge watch in its entirety.
Nah, it's perfectly suited for watching every episode multiple times and letting it sink in over a week. When you know that everything will be revealed a couple hours later it's not the same.
So if some of them are
actually dead, then how do they interact with objects like opening doors? Is that something astral travelers/spirits can do in this series or is it their imagination and they never move or touch anything for real? And where is the (original) tooth key in case that MC is dead?
pleases old men for viewsin her niconico stream
>Sarai watches her stream
>Myuu "views" Sarai's future
Sarai most likely came in contact with Myuu personally and interrogated her like how he did with Gamotan.
(while looking at the drawing in pic related) "So that's what that meant..."
"It was unexpected that even you'd go to that side."
"To think that I was drawing a picture of myself... But in any case... This must be the new world."
So it's basically confirmed that they're inside GAIA.
everyones voices were pretty tinny this episode, you could sort of hear it faintly last episode too.
It'^s from Anonymous;Code
The GAI Computer Corporation developed their Earth Simulator “GAIA” to track things such as fluctuation in weather patterns and activity of the Earth’s crust, ultimately it was a tool designed to predict the future of the Earth itself.
The digitized Earth within this simulator is said to be completely accurate down to the smallest detail. However, as our story begins, progress on the simulator has been put on hold due to the events of the Sad Morning.
You're pretty much right
I like the studio because of titles like Steins;Gate but this one is so far shit and those giant breasts are disturbing
>Some characters have no shadows
>Is it animation error or are they doing it on purpose?
Given the amount of the story that has to be covered and the fact that character #10 hasn't even shown up yet this definitely feels like a two cour show unless this entire show is just set up for the inevitable VN.
My theory: the events that are happening in O;N are the experiments that were being done for the creation of GAIA, they are trying to see if they can get 256 people to live normally in a simulation of the real world IN the real world using electromagnetic waves with the "ferris wheel" to project them.
And if A;C isn't related to O;N the part of projecting ghosts into the real world using the ferris wheel still stands.
Cardgames, not even once.
The first major plot advancement since episode 1 is in episode 12. Episodes 2-11 are basically a cute girls doing cute things SoL with some time travel and mystery elements thrown in.
I think it's connected to A;C and GAIA but you clearly have some misconceptions. There's nothing about transferring people to a simulation in A;C. A;C is basically endless layers of simulation.
This is already a simulation and now the 256 people are probably in a layer above or below it.
oh yeah i forgot to mention the part where i thought that maybe this was something like SOMA where they put people inside a computer because the world is fucked but it's not likely that A;C is going to be like that
The annoying part about this series is that for people who are paying attention, the plot makes perfect sense and there's been tons of foreshadowing. But it seems the majority of people watching aren't paying attention, so when the plot twists are revealed and it turns out the cast are dead and their minds are inside a computer simulation, people will be crying "ASSPULL PLOT TWIST" and "TRAINWRECK ENDING".
The eyes of a dead soul.
That what makes the serious shit happening feel serious. S;G slow pace is deliberate and it works.
OC9 fast pace is deliberate as well, though, I don't see a reason to slow it down.
Was that ever stated? And even then,
A) It's possible that the plot twist of A;C is that the people inside the simulation were originally from our world.
B) It's possible that they just don't have the technology to create realistic AIs that can function in the simulation in 2016, so there initial tests in O;9 involve them transferring real people's minds over.
What a horrible show to watch week by week.
It keeps getting more interesting and you can't marathon the whole thing.
I'm not saying S;G's slow pace doesn't work, I'm just saying it is slow. Because I'm replying to >>149429896 who is asking how anyone could fine S;G slow.
And yes, I also know O;9's pace is deliberate and it's the thing I'm enjoying most abiut the show.
so is it confirmed most of the nine is dead but ryo-tas isn't?
Is this the only decent mystery show this year, or even longer than that?
>A) It's possible that the plot twist of A;C is that the people inside the simulation were originally from our world.
No, it's not. You don't get it. In the A;C, there's an almost 1:1 simulation of our exact world. In that simulation, there's an almost 1:1 simulation of the world too. Not only that, but we're actually a simulation of the world above ours. It's that way infinitely to the top and bottom.
The people in the simulation aren't individually created AIs. They also only manage to make humanity show up in their simulation by adding the arecibo message to it. There's nothing about putting people in simulationd.
if this is actually a simulation projected into the real world maybe they are interacting with the world inside the simulation so the doors they are opening or coffees they drink are stuff that is happening in the simulation and not in the real world or maybe ghosts are just imagining it as you said
they don't have a shadow and the demon dude once the loli realizes(and this one did receive a call) that the demon dude's voice doesn't sound weird he says something like "because we switched places" which could mean that now he is the one that hears her with the weird filter
I still want genki paizuri from her.
Updated timeline for this week:
>doujin lady wonders if a soul can be stitched together (like Frankenstein's body parts).
>next week's preview shows demon kid putting some of his vanguard cards
captured souls?into a box, which seems to tremble/activate if it comes in contact with blood
maybe the same box shown in doujin lady's manga, which is (presumably) opened by gamotan's key? But what purpose does it serve..
i don't know if you don't know but yeah, a VN was confirmed but they decided to release the anime first, i guess they are trying to see how it will sell if they release the anime first, or that O;N is directly related to A;C which is coming first so they needed to have the prologue ready before the release
FUCK, FUCK, FUUUUCKIMG FUCK
>That face with one eye from the opening
> This shot from the preview
> The whole talk about Frankensteining souls
I think I see the connection to A;C, GAIA and how the creators of GAIA managed to gather the information on how to create the perfect AI. FUCK
Why the fuck did they had to make her tits this big, man.
In the LN designs she has normal-sized tits.
Fuck this shit. This crap is the sole reason why I'm not archiving this show.
Umm, excuse me, what are you talking about?
Oh. 256 bodies washed up yeh? Look here. There's Curse Loli, Sarai and Miyuu.
Curse Loli's brother didn't have a reflection in the "flashbacks"of him. The same is happening with members of the main cast. Though there aren't enough scenes to even give consistency.
That, along with the fact that the show is tip-toeing around identifying the victims has people thinking possibly, every member of the main cast may already be dead in the similar sense that the "devil" who works with curse loli is dead.
It's like half theory half joke at this point.
You think there's "afterlife world" overlapped over the living world? (Ririka says it's the new world plus her name was mentioned at the news.) And the radio that Gamotan has is some device where a real living person is trying to communicate with Gamotan (in the past) to solve something in the future hence why she knows a lot of things already. This is too confusing.
Zenko might just be Gamotan's illusion or creation, the same way Ougi was to Arararagi.
What's the significance of 256? We know it's 2^8. The main characters are a total of 9, right? 256 is also used a lot in the IT field.
if there's an actual simulation the afterlife world would be the simulation being projected into the real world
>You think there's "afterlife world" overlapped over the living world?
That's what I believe too, like a superior plane only special people and ghosts from our world can see while everyone on that plane can interact with everything as usual but without living people.
I agree. I find it very enjoyable for some reason. I don't know why, but it sorta reminds me of a Gainiax/Shaft hybrid. Probably because the dialogue is fast af and everything is bonkers.
And the animation is pretty neat.
I just noticed something. Ryouka's boobs are so large they seem fake. If they are fake then they are made out of silicon. Silicon begins with an S and so does Sarai. Sarai is the son of hashigami-sensei. It seems likely that Ryouka knew about the murder from the start and that's why she sent Yuuta to the crime scene.
What is the best supernatural anime, and why is it xxxHolic
That's assuming either of them did that.
I've tried labeling the gems based on their color scheme on the website.
Pardon my autism.
IS THAT A JOJO REFERENCE???
>so big that you can see them in their entirety from behind
Oh my dick.
Don't worry about that, I'm loving it as well for more than just the tits.
>In the LN designs she has normal-sized tits.
In the beta LN designs, you mean. The finished version had the glorious monster tits you see here.
Stop being so gay and try to enjoy things despite them having a lewd element in them, geez.
I was working on something similar although I think Sarai would be the darker blue.
If you use the "Skin Selector" located at the topmost-left of the page, Ririka's theme is indigo-ish which is the same as the shine emitted by the gem I've picked.
That is what I see on my screen at least.
Either way, we can conclude that Ryo-tas (Spirit Mediator) and Ghost (Living Dead) are not there.
>Oarfish only rise to the surface/see light when they're about to die
What does it mean, /a/?
>7 marbles dropped into water by a cyan colored silhouette
>FBI lady's color scheme is cyan
>FBI lady and silhouette have similar body types
FBI lady is the one who committed the mass suicide hypnosis confirmed
She might actually appear next episode given how prevalent she is in the ED.
She might be, or Ryo-tas.
I think the headband-thing is just a hair shadow/highlight/shine/design whatever that you can also see with FBI-chan's hair >>149450122
Yeah, before the creepy full-suit/mascot man. But she is most relevant in the ED where it only highlights Gamotan and Ryo-tas along with her.
I feel like there's probably some importance in the fact that FBI lady is reflected in Gamotas eyes near the end of the ED, and that Ryotas is in a faraday cage. Probably old news since I missed the last several threads, but that's what jumps out to me.
I actually didn't notice that I just assumed it was light reflecting in his eyes.
So which colon work had the best Engrish?
"If you are God, and the delusion becomes reality.
About what kind of the noids do you get?
Is it the sensual world? The despotic society?
The destructive sanctions?
"There is no end though there is a start in space. --- Infinity.
It has own power, it ruins, and it goes though there is a start also in the star. --- Finite.
Only the person who was wisdom can read the most foolish one from history.
The fish that lives in the sea doesn't know the world in the land. It also ruins and goes if they have wisdom.
It is funnier that man exceeds the speed of light than fish start living in the land.
It can be said that this is an final ultimatum from the god to the people who can fight."
"As for the science, it may be negative.
However, do not forget the thing that there is a scientific side in all the one.
The important one is true.
of me the ruler of my fate, and me also the ruler of my soul."
"THERE ARE NO SUCH THING AS "OCCULT". IT CAN BE DISPROVED ALL BY SCIENCE.
ONLY THE ONES WHO HAVE ACCEPTED EVERYTHING,
CAN GET THE RIGHT TO KNOW THE TRUTH."
"In this place in your life, no equal to the miracle that was arrived at this save point,
and I am delighted more than anything else.
Go through the curtain of the stage, and he peeled off the mask of stringy witch.
World layer close the loop. Regardless hacking God."
I think O;9's is the most coherent, and A;C's is the least.
Nah it was pretty noticeable this episode, i'm sure its deliberate like ghost oniisans voice. I could kind of hear it faintly last epsiode too. This episode also had gamon telling zonko that there was a lot of static with her voice, maybe related
No, she's just too perfect.
Shit. It's already in the ED all along.
Gamontan is dead as fuck.
This episode pretty much confirm
>Goth loli is ded
>Doujin artist is ded
Also, I think the 7 crystals are symbolism of 7 souls/persons who commit suicide and drowned into the lake/'machine'.
Years of training with fast-paced anime.
Sarai knew his father is with something, along with the doujin mangaka. Showing the tooth now is actually the best bet to know about the 256 people and Sarai would most probably help, but the problem comes with him knowing about the tooth in the first place. Zonko will never talk in front of others.
I think he will let out the key secret next episode if he wants to solve the mystery since Myu already pointed out the box with a lock.
Don't get memed by all the cuts and ridiculous angled shots, the narrative has been very straight forward after episode 1.
If you're talking about the fast dialogue, train yourself with The Tatami Galaxy and all the Monogatari stuff, you'll be used to it by then.
This is my exact same opinion on this show.
How the fuck did the dad encode 256 names in the ceiling tiles? The tiles I counted were ~32x32. Assuming we use Shift-JIS or UTF-8 to encode the names (~4 kanji per name, more efficient), and the name-dropped Baudot for the 10 symbols afterwards, you'd need 82 bytes per name, and that comes out to like 21 tiles to encode all 256 names, and there's way less than that. Is there something I am missing?
I had trouble initially, and then went back and re-watched the first 3 episodes and was like "how the fuck was I confused before." It's pretty straightforward honestly, I think it's just that the first episode is so fucking condensed that it's hard to get a proper grasp on everything initially.
It's probably just phonetic on the ceiling tiles.
A1 always love those artsy EDs (SSY, Subete, Erased). Atleast they can make something good sometimes
Fuck, video player's doing some shit
>Loli x Demon
Do want. The demon is clearly tsundere for the loli.
I prefer Gamon x Myu.
But Sarai x Myu isn't bad. Sarai is pretty moe and obviously going to be tsundere to Myu.
Never heard the term legal loli or what?
Can't tell if you're genuinely new and don't know what loli means or are just trolling.
That guy is an autistic troll /a/ dubbed LRD, taken after the trip he used to go by. All he does is falseflag and downplays loli by pretending to be dumb, so don't take him seriously. It's generally best to ignore him.
Fucking hell, this scene. This show in general, even. This character at least. This is one of my most anticipated shows each week, but I gotta at admit it gets me a little spooked sometimes. Am I dead?
Loser can spy on anybody he wants with his out of body powers.
Doesn't bother spying on private CEO meetings, politician meetings, etc so he could earn money and power through insider trading or blackmail.
What the fuck.
Zonko bleeding in the OP
So is Sarai dead or alive? I was under the impression last episode that he was alive due to shota detective warning him about the phone call but now he's interacting with (supposedly) dead people and he has that reverb thing on his voice.
This is just my opinion, but what if:
>Ryotas is the true citizen in that 'dead world'(trapped in the cage symbolism). That's why she still have her shadow.
>Zonko-tan is the FBI-chan. And Gamo's radio is tool for communication, between real world and that dimension.
>I REDOWNLOADED MY FUCKING RAWS THINKING IT WAS A SHIT ENCODE FUCK
This look like the vanguard cards kid.
I think he and the detective may actually be the creations from the doujin lady's manga.
Same universe/setting as Occultic;Nine, part of the SVN series. The rest of the semi-colon series are part of SciAdv series, which is a fictional universe/game/story inside SVN.
I know this anime is not popular but what could cause a shit storm here?
or at least make the threads more active
MC finally find the Perfect hole?
the loli become more relevant?
ryotits is fake?
No shadow or reflection is just animation error?
/ss/ actually happens?
The gay owner is just pretending
and he actually fuck ryotas upstairs
Don't you remember the phone calls characters got?
We would have a couple of max threads at air date if this aired back then at 2010-2012.
Like how every single little frame and references in Penguindrum have been discussed to death. Good times.
Sorry for the blog.
It has been discussed in the older threads.
Well, to name one, the eye satellite bomb thing.
Also, that slut who pleases old men for views had a vision about a certain year and a vision on supercomputers. There's a lot more in the archives.
There is really nothing deep about it though, from what I've seen. The animation is great but somehow couldn't finish the first episode.
Do you think ryotas getting hit by a train at the end of the OP means anything? Its probably just a fancy transition
>but there's literally no spoilers in threads
Because almost everything got adapted.
Big fat Ryotats.
Even more than pic related?
what if by "you are working on this" actually meant that they were using his mind/soul in 2026 for the creation of GAIA, in the "not a laptop but a much bigger machine" scene we see some kind of electric currents that look like neuronal networks, if he is one of the 256 that means he is dead already so it doesn't matter if he had his days counted also he said that he had electromagnetic hypersensitivity, maybe all of the 256 had that to some degree which made them more susceptible to the phone calls
i made a new version where the SA4D eye is visible, i hope the anon that made this doesn't get mad
I'd wear the poya guns ones
Everything makes sense now
I don't think it was for GAIA. I think his soul was used to be stored in the supercomputer that would lead to the 2036 catastrophe.
Early in the story Moritsuka talked with someone about "changing the future", and that the list they are searching for isn't in this world.
This seems to allude to the existence of linked parallel worlds.
And there's also a big hint Kyriu is actually the reincarnation of Ria's brother.
I've never realized that the eye shows up before the impact.
>I think his soul was used to be stored in the supercomputer that would lead to the 2036 catastrophe.
it wasn't a computer that caused the catastrophe it was an error in all of the computers in the world
>cat pattern on FBI-chan
WHAT DOES IT MEAN?
You said it yourself. "an error in all of the computers in the world".
And what the old man in episode 3 did say? That this thing is not just happening in Japan, but also all over world.
One of the important lines Sarai's father did say before his death was:
"The information stored in the human brain is released to the outside in the form of magnetic data with its own will".
They wanted to experiment by inserting souls in computers, and this was the result.
not just any robots anon, GENKI SUMMER ROBOTS
It happens 20 years later though, so is unrelated to O;N
That said, Moritsuka said something about "changing the future". I wouldn't put past it that said future they are trying to prevent is the 2036 problem. Coincidentally, the Nuclear Holocaust in S;G also happens in 2036.
"Sky sensor" is not a chuuni name he came up with, his radio is real
Wait, this one looks more like it
