How much value do you put into character interaction?
What anime does it best?
Hyouka.
Mono. Please don't yell at me, I like KyoAni and SHAFT.

>How much value do you put into character interaction?
Its pretty much the leading factor in anime I enjoy
>What anime does it best?
K-On!
In fact, Yamada is the absolute best director when it comes to character interactions. With Reiko on board as scriptwriter, its going to be a masterpiece.
Good character interaction is a probably the only prerequisite I have for enjoying a show, but to me the other elements are what separates good from great.
Might be recency bias on my part but ReLife had some of the best character interaction I have seen in a show. It's a shame it didn't offer much else besides that and the ED themes though.

This, Hyouka is all about character interaction

i find ReLife characters a little generic, not much as other shows though
>>149399238
The characters themselves were pretty generic, but that made it easier for the focus to be on their interactions which were really well done. Everyone had great chemistry.

School rumble was pretty good at it. Mixing character types that don't often interact

Yozakura quartet.
All the characters are likable and have excellent chemistry with each other, even when they have conflict it feels like the kind of fights you might have with friends.

Should mention that I mean specifically the new series and OVA's, and not the Nomad shitshow.
