Sawatari vs. Dennis: Sawatari is close to beating Dennis, Yuri interrupts the duel to defeat Sawatari, Dennis tries to stop Yuri from carding Sawatari, but fails; the duel is a Battle Royale, so Dennis continues the duel despite having no cards in his hand or on his field save for one Pendulum Scale. He promises to stop hiding behind the mask he always wears and to finally be himself, but draws another monster with the same Scale as the one on the field. He is defeated and carded by Yuri.

Sora and Kurosaki are in a Tag Duel against the Tyler Sisters, only this time Grace and Gloria have good cards that don't completely suck. Kurosaki tries to play defensively but Sora encourages Shun to trust him for once. Kurosaki relents, trusting Sora to win the duel, but the Tyler Sisters end up ruining the combo Sora was setting up, and defeats them both.

Himika returns with Nakajima as her entourage, and while both of them bypass Obelisk Force on the way to confront Leo, Barrett stops them, challenging Nakajima to a duel to prevent them from getting into the inner sanctum. Nakajima ultimately loses just as Yuya, Reiji, Reira, and Yusho arrive at the sanctum, and Nakajima formally apologizes to Reiji before he is carded.

Academia was always a letdown.
We were always told that Academia was really really strong and a threat to everyone and yet they introduce no threats and their supposedly strongest card is played for a joke.
Here's their record:
In Standard they just carded Mitchy and Teppei and those knight jobbers. Other than that the Lancers dispatched them with ease once they teamed up as well and Yuya destroyed them with Berserk mode.
In Synchro they are dispatched yet again only to achieve nothing at all. Barret did capture Selena but at the brink of death and only because she was gassed by someone else entirely.
No comment about XYZ, everyone knows about it.
It seems Academia's only strength is them teaming up and actually using solid vision outside of duels. I guess that makes everyone else dumb for not figuring it out when they saw their tactics once.
And now in Fusion, their base, all they had was BB and everyone knows what's bad about him.

Obvious answer left aside for now, it baffles me why to have 2 towers spontaneously erected within a week if both shots are considered 100% canon with added damage control with no other function than to have a jail cell for Rin and Ruri each several stories up than to say have them in 1 big and luxurious room with even higher security and located closer to the ARC-V machine, like in that clock tower over there.

I know, I know, excuse for the Lancers to duel Rin and Ruri and to show off their decks rather than have Rin and Ruri bust out of that room finally depending on how long they've been locked up, attacking Academia students during their escape, fail, and get sent back to Leo. The "Thousand Meeting" deck listing for Yuma lists his deck structure as follows:

Nah, according to Thousand Meeting's rules, any Number Xyz monster is kosher. Thousand Meeting decks are guidelines to let people build thematic decks following a character, but with restrictions so that people can't go "15 Gagaga Cowboy; 25 staples".

That said, with the Thousand Meeting rules for Yuma, you get a pretty wide pool of toys.

Thanks to that spell card he has now there's absolutely no point in her or Xiangkei Magician anymore. How sad is that? Stargazer and Timegazer have nonsense effects and thanks to their restrictions in the real game nobody uses them and then there's Acrobat and Dragon Calling Magicians, The only good Magician Yuya has is Timebreaker Magician and that's because he's a level 3, can banish itself along with another monster, possibly fucking over an xyz monster in the process and thanks to it's leveling, enables level 7 plays for Magician decks and the like for the deck. Why, they probably made it good on accident. I hope the new structure makes Fusion summons and Xyz summons easier for the deck.
