It was like a poor man's monogatari. It has the same style and aesthetic but looks cheaper, feels less well thought out and has inferior girls. Meanwhile being a poor man's monogatari put's it above nearly every other anime this season.

Not much there from the first episode, it was devoted to character intoductions yet didn't introduce the whole cast and didn't give us much info on any of them. The visuals were mostly just random and didn't suit the scenes at all. The setting and colour design was just garishly bright and ugly, and it seemed like they felt like they had to just put fast animation in there with the camera zooming all over the place because it was an OVA. On that matter, it shouldn't be an OVA. The episodes are normal length and nothing much happens in them, there's no reason for them to be monthly and sold individually. I feel sorry for anyone who actually bought ep 1. I do like Watanabe's character designs tho, unlike seemingly everyone else.

Definetely lower budget than I expected. I'm fine with the CG backgrounds but they were aliased as fuck. 1st ep was super slow but not boring.
