Garp is the last person you should be surprised at for naming his kid something like "Dragon." He was probably only concerned that his son's name wouldn't sound kickass ENOUGH, so he decided that it had to be in English too. The real question concerning Dragon is, what the hell happened to him that caused a man raised by Garp to turn into the most stoic character in the entire series?
