Middle left was a girl at Natsume's school who sort of befriended him. Everyone thought he was up to no good (yokais breaking windows and him being blamed for it), but she defended him. If I remember correctly, a spirit also saves her from being run over?

Middle right was the daughter of one of Natsume's relatives that took him in for a while. She was a bitch to him because she was jealous of Natsume getting attention from her dad, and of course she also thought he was a troublemaker and was lying about seeing things.
