This is your slut for tonight.
Victor best slut.
I'm going to put a ring on it.
Here's that Victor and Yuri kiss everyone's been wanting.
Here's a Swiss-kun to cure your nausea, anon.
You must not have watched it to say this anon, this is the most heterosexual show I have ever seen.
Wouldn't he have died if he was eaten?
That's so cute. Victor getting Yuuri angry by his behaviour would be equally cute.
He would not slap anyone. At best, he would poke you.
Somehow, Yuri expressing his frustration at a later date leads to Victor deciding to "choreograph" a routine of lewd acts that takes advantage of Yuri's stamina. Victor hands Yuri the neatly typed-up list, sends Makkachin to Yuko's place for the night, and turns on all the lights in his bedroom so he can properly assess Yuri's technique.
I thought Eros Yuuri would be best Yuuri we would get. I'm glad that I was wrong.
I like the way you think. This needs to be writefagged.
Great username, but too much Fairy abuse.
>reusing the dialog from episode 4
I really do hope we get to see a final skate from Victor. I'll probably cry like a bitch
like I usually do for my favorite sports players
Kek, I has a good laugh translating this.
Remember children, don't mix up what kanji should be written first.
Why is he so gorgeous?
I want to sit on his face
>meanwhile the only YoI merch available on amiami are a few ugly keychains and other ugly shit I don't need nor want to buy
I'm a beginner and using google's manuscript character recognition device on google translate is quicker than checking an endless list of radicals. I just need to look up the character with Rikaichan when I'm done.
Am I doing this wrong, or are you bullying me because I checked basic kanji
Eleven years from now, after dominating women's skating, she's going to drop everything, fly from Russia to Japan, and accost a struggling female skater in a hot springs.
Then we will truly have become yuri on ice.
I'm bullying you because you had to look up two of the most basic kanji that should be the very first thing you learn before even attempting to read anything other than example sentences. What the fuck dude, it's like wanting to read Charles Dickens only knowing 3 vowels.
Would you tap that
shoulder and ask him to cover up?
So real talk. Are they gonna actually form a relationship? Will this be the one? Is it finally going to happen. Its so gay already and it feels like they're setting the stage for it super hard.
Do you mean the other way around? Because I agree, just seeing how they're framing their relationship as not only part of the story, but part of Yuuri's development is interesting. It'll be fun to see how it progresses.
Please god let them have the balls to do it, they're already set to sell really well and it will give the series some integrity if it's not just pandering.
I also just really want to see them together because they're so good.
>The wolf usually leaves the grandmother's blood and meat for the girl to eat, who then unwittingly cannibalizes her own grandmother. Furthermore, the wolf was also known to ask her to remove her clothing and toss it into the fire. In some versions, the wolf eats the girl after she gets into bed with him, and the story ends there.
Oh boy, is it time? Have you returned to us?
They're already gay. I guarantee you this series is going to develop by Yurii discovering the "love" in his figure sk8ting is based deep in his love for Viktor.
By the last episode they'll be fucking each-other.
They probably got drunk and made out
a few timesprobably sucked each other off once or twice toothen Victor went "no homo" the next morning and they went back to being bffs.
How the fuck do either of those things count as showing interest in women? That shows women being interested in him, which we have no evidence of him responding to.
I'm not saying he's canonically gay so calm the fuck down, hetfag.
>I guarantee you this series is going to develop by Yurii discovering the "love" in his figure sk8ting is based deep in his love for Viktor.
I just had a case of deja vu.
>bald on the top
>ex-wife is Lily/Lilia
Time travelling Victor confirmed.
I like to imagine him as a bislut but he literally has never paid any attention to girls or talked about past girlfriends. It wouldn't be surprising if he did eventually but thus far he is gayer than Yuuri, who liked Yuuko.
Have they even used the good ol' kabedon yet.
>never paid any attention to girls
>talked about past girlfriends
He also asked Yuri if he had feelings for Minako and tried to talk about his first gf.
I'm conflicted between cute and regret.
He's a slut and has many opportunities to fuck women. You can keep living in fairytale land where he has some strict code of only fucking men for some reason if it makes you feel better.
I still don't know what the context is, but I think Plushenko is kabedon'ing the guy who choreographs the YOI routines.
Stop being obtusely retarded on purpose and hiding behind the ambiguous nature of Japanese language to suit your bisexual agenda and pay attention to the context of the conversation.
>Please consult a gook surgeon.
I got your back, senpai.
Right, because a gay man would never try to sus out if another guy is gay by asking him if he's into a woman. And all gay men can instantly detect other gay men, they would never assume someone they juy met is straight.
Your logic is beyond retarded. Just say he's not gay til it's canonically confirmed and leave it at that because your arguments are nonsense.
Gomenasai, my name is Puru-Sama.
I’m a 27 year old Russian Otaku (Anime fan for you gaijins). I draw Anime and Manga on my tablet, and spend my days perfecting my art and playing superior Japanese games. (Disgaea, Final Fantasy, Persona series)
I train with my Katana every day, this superior weapon can cut clean through steel because it is folded over a thousand times, and is vastly superior to any other weapon on earth. I earned my sword license two years ago, and I have been getting better every day.
I speak Japanese fluently, both Kanji and the Osaka dialect, and I write fluently as well. I know everything about Japanese history and their bushido code, which I follow 100%
When I get my Japanese visa, I am moving to Tokyo to attend a prestigious High School to learn more about their magnificent culture. I hope I can become an animator for Studio Ghibli or a game designer!
I own several kimonos, which I wear around town. I want to get used to wearing them before I move to Japan, so I can fit in easier. I bow to my elders and seniors and speak Japanese as often as I can, but rarely does anyone manage to respond.
Wish me luck in Japan!
>he's gay trust me he was just trying to test if he was gay or not all gay men have a built in gaydar even though none of that is supported or hinted at in the show
>but your arguments are retarded
>even though it's stated in the show
>just stop disagreeing with my delusions it's making me upset
I can't believe the shit I read in these threads sometimes. It's a goldmine I swear.
I'm excited to see new characters, even though I don't particularly like Fang's design.
All shipperfats are the same they just differ in the flavor of autism they spew. Western fujo are usually the least well-adjusted though because they are the type that hate their own gender and wish they had dicks.
Mental illness on top of autism.
That was bad. You suck. I win.
I want new filters for tomorrow.
retard -> tofu
autist -> banana
So, is Japan really okay with promoting a fakehomo skating themed anime to real athletes? Even if Yuuri ends up being bi, wouldn't that be a bit awkward bc figure skating is stigmatized as a feminine sport?
>taking fiction so seriously
Really, anon? At the end of the day, it's just an anime that gets around in Japan and a bit in the West. It's not some shit like Harry Potter that everyone and their mother knows about and could potentially cause a "scandal"
Imagine the heavy shitposting after that.
Did some people not figure out this is a yaoi show?
I'm starting to think that you guys post this as an excuse to get drunk.
Hiramatsu saying Yuri is coming close to the last 2 episodes of Eva as the most suffering he's ever had in a production.
Though he said it's probably because he's older.
That sucks for all of them, they should just delay new episodes for a few weeks so they can catch up. I know that's an Amerifat thing to do but I wouldn't mind waiting for better quality.
I'm gonna break this down
Vers but has a personal preference for powerbottoming
Bottom, is probably kind of bitchy and demanding about it
Top but he'll bottom for someone he loves
Vers but with a personal preference for bottoming, complete sizequeen however so if you bust out something pocket sized on him then bend over
Such a bottom your back will hurt bending down to try and reach him down there on that bottommost shelf
Vers but actually prefers to top, he's a pretty unselfish lover
Insecure top who gets up in his feelings if anything goes anywhere near his butthole
Slutty bottom, sends pictures of his hole to anyone who asks, probably waxes it for maintenance
Another insecure top, anything near his butt is no bueno
Not really, just that he has never worked with most of the staff before and most of them are really young etc.
The post itself is mostly him wondering why the show is becoming so popular abroad.
Especially since its popularity has really picked up. Didn't Brave Witches delay one of their eps already? And last year God Eater took like a 6-month break. So it's not like delaying is unheard of.
I was trying to leave that out to avoid politics, but yeah, he says the TPP and globalism kills the uniqueness of each country, and ties it back to Yuri by saying people like the characters because they are characteristic to their country.
And that he tries to capture that uniqueness and avoid symbol drawing and symbol animation, which would make every character feel the same. Like globalism makes everybody the same.
Two shows already dropped episodes this season, industry people are already calling it "the 2016 crisis".
I'm sure Yuri will drop a week eventually, but I think it can get with it, not just because it's popular in general, but because it's go an underdog narrative of the scrappy little original show by the scrappy little studio taking on this impossible theme and delivering amazing animation (most people on twitter and 2ch still seem to thing the animation is good somehow).
Which buys them goodwill something like Brave Witches, an established moneymaking franchise that's being rushed because they think they can get away with it, can't get.
Oh, I learned something new, "symbol animation". Thanks anon!
I don't know shit about animation, but I wonder if that's why Yurio's dancing feels a lot different from Yuuri's. At first I thought it was because they were animated by different people.
I want it to happen so badly.
>Good job, tumblr
You are saying that like if they just don't hate all foreigners, it's just that now they have an easier time filtering
Japs fucking hate foreigners to enter "their secret clubs" or whatever and it's been like that for decades
Never mind guys I figured I'm a retard
Since when did Kaworu and Shinji learn how to skate?
Kawoshin is gayer because it's actually canon.
>kubo will never personally tell you congratulations and hope that you enjoy the next episode
Why are you lying to yourself anon?
>But i dont like boys.
Oh, hey. Didn't see you there.
Those ice twinks can't handle a proper princess carry.
Don't give T&B fans a bad name by antagonizing people in their own show thread; I like both shows and you should always post the full set.
No season 2 yet but the movies are great too.
>tfw I was never there for the live threads
If you look closely you'll see that its actually Thai posting the photo. Also no caption, just likes.
>its actually Thai posting the photo
Victor trying to assert his dominance over Thai. Cute.
It was really fun watching with /a/, a few character fags were annoying; but it was great overall; a lot of official side material and pixiv stuff got translated. Too bad that the archives got messed up.
I hope someone makes a google drive for the stuff in these threads like the bahamut and flamenco fans did.
The threads are still there but the images and a lot of uploaded links are dead or deleted, it doesn't help that half the threads were on /a/ and the other half were on /m/; I still can't find a working link for the Fire emblem, and Barnaby drama CD anywhere. No rips of the new short either, although google does give a couple of tumblr posts being excited about their copies arriving, they didn't rip and upload anything so no subs.
YOI is helping fill the void in my soul.
>that whole log
What the fuck
It was cheesy as fuck but I still feel sad after reading it.
Welcome friend; I just love this theme so much, the EVA tumbling down one was great too, wish we could choose them as options along with the usual ones, but then they wouldn't be special anymore so I try to enjoy it while I can.
Google saucenao newfriend.
Don't ask source for pixiv logs, it's rude. You can do it yourself.
I don't know moon, so i can only interpret. Is it Yuuri mistaking Victor's feelings for him as a joke or teasing?
My first time editing...
Thanks to >>149196251 for translating.
Original here: >>149195867
Exactly. The dialogues and situation are exactly what they look like.
Then Yurio comes in and ask Viktor why can't he be the one
>muh misunderstanding and forced drama
I hope YoI won't fall into that kind of bad writing like Free did.
>tfw I posted the original and didnt expect a translation
>now it's been typesetted
Looks good, anon.
>I hope YoI won't fall into that kind of bad writing like Free did.
I dropped Free a few episodes in because it wasn't all that appealing to me, but I heard about the shitstorm over the forced drama.
I'm a sucker for angst and pining, anon. No regrets.
I'm not sure what's going on here but I'm into it
what are these designs from? Is there official art or is it just a pixiv/artist thing where one person creates a design enjoyable enough that others follow?
It'd be nice if it did since it'd be irrelevant to the story as a whole, but I'm keep my hopes low, extremely low.
I would be very pleasantly surprised if we did get a confirmed Victor/Yuuri end though.
>uncensored hand holding
Can they show this on a cover?
how would you a thai? Gently with handholding or rough with hairpulling?
Happy Halloween. Would you let Victor seduce you and take your virtue?
Halloween fanart is great.
But please consider the following: Victor/Yuuri Christmas/Victor's birthday fanart
>tfw YoI will still be airing during Yuuri and Victor's birthday
Feels good man. I'm so overcome with emotion.
What's that guy doing nowadays. Last I heard was like a year ago when there were TMZ reports on domestic disputes.
shit thats nice
something I've wondered, is the rotoscoping in YoI done from footage like this, or do they hire skaters to film? I don't really see why they couldn't just use stuff like this vid, but I'm not familiar with the Copyright laws in japan.
Also, I just found out that Fairy and I have the same birthday. Life is worth living again.
Y: Why... would you do something like this?
Y: Is it that fun to mock me?
Y: Did I look like a fool to you?
Y: Like an ugly duckling struggling.
Y: ...Whatever you may think of me, I
Y: I always admired you!
V: What am I doing...
*At some point I became unable to take my eyes off of Yuuri, who showed a side of himself on the ice that was like a completely different person.*
*The time we spent together was so warm, and I was captivated by him.*
V: ~VODKARUNES~ "Yuuri". I'm sorry...
Yo: Hey, Victor.
Yo: How long do you plan on staying like that?
Yo: Am I----
Yo: Am I not good enough for you....!
YoI isn't rotoscoped (see >>149235784 ). Some animators have posted some shots with the reference footage on screen, and the anime uses radically different camera work, so they really couldn't be doing direct roto even if they wanted to for most sequences.
The show's choreographer, Miyamoto Kenji, choreographs and skates each program (presumably minus the implausible jumps and not necessarily all in one shot) for the animators' reference. I've heard they had a female skater perform the reference footage for Yurio's programs, but it doesn't seem like they did that for the Agape routine at least (since Victor skates it too).
Thank you anon. Now I can suffer accordingly.
I can see that >>149235784 isn't rotoscoped, but I'm almost positive that there's more going on than just referencing footage. It makes sense that some scenes are more or less dependent on reference materials. So I don't doubt that what you've said is true. But all of Yuuri's skating sequences so far (that aren't a close up) are HIGHLY reminiscent of rotoscoping. I get that impression based on the fact that the animation is fairly jumpy/jerky yet stays balanced and within proportion. Yuri's first skate scene paired with Victor's routine in e1 for example, differ in their fluidity of motion and linework, and that is the primary difference between rotoscoping vs just using references for animation when you've got limited frames.
I think it's just the schedule. One of the animators posted some rough cuts from Yuri's half of the ep 1 sequence and it's clearly not roto either, just not very finished (this is the animator who was complaining about the schedule making their work suffer too).
Probably does it the chinese and the other japanese as well.
I'm drunk every day because of you guys.
oh! didn't know that
But then if they're suffering from the schedule, why don't they use rotoscoping more? It's a faster way to animate lol. oh well. That definitely makes things a lot more impressive if they're doing things the hard way. and explains why they've been needing to recycle animation so much.
Different anon here. The animator doing Yuuri's full choreographies is tracing over a CG video of the live footage while stylizing it.
He's the one complaining about the schedule. I'm not a fan of this guy, to be completely honest.
The ones animating other Yuuri scenes like that jump with time traveler Yurio, as well as Yurio's and Victor's full routines are different animators who are doing it without tracing over anything, so those are more natural and fluid albeit more prone to QUALITY.
>stays balanced and within proportions
But that's not true. Pic related
It's true that it is jumpy and jerky at times but it looks more like an unfinished animation (or more accurately a finished, detailed look hurriedly put together onto an unfinished animation study) than rotoscoping to me. Despite what >>149235784 might make you think most first drafts are jumpy and jerky. Most of the work lies in adjusting stuff so it becomes fluid and pretty to look at.
Rotoscoping looks like shit, You said it yourself too, it's jumpy and jerky and not helful at all when you're aiming to make fluid animation.
Tracing real life movement might sound like the easy way out but the truth is the human eye can't figure out the underlying movement of what is being captured in a still picture. It just ends up looking like a nico nico paint animation at best. Moreover there are a number of visual tricks we use in animation, like squash and strech, that of course don't exist irl.
The CG thing is hardly tracing, it's clearly mostly there for perspective reference with the background. You can see the bottom corner of the live reference footage in the upper right.
