Shaft made the Monogatari series, which peaked with Bake, and has since made only garbage. SHAFT is known for its visuals which only appeal to 14 year old downies that think constantly cutting from a wide shot with a character center frame to a close up of said character's face then back to a wide shot is good visual direction

BONES peaked with Bebop which was made when they were still Sunrise. Now every show they make seems to have potential, loses it halfway through, then has a QUALITY ending
They have, over the years, made better anime than fucking shaft though

Well, I'll put it this way: SHAFT, KyoAnus, and Trigger are probably the only three studios that have the power to coerce me to at least try whatever they put out in a given season, without even knowing the genre or audience, etc.

I like BONES, Madhouse (voted that as my favorite, honestly), and others, but I guess the difference is that those three have had so few shows (comparative to the others) that the percentage of quality material is a lot higher.

Shaft doesn't really make anything that I like. Even when they air a new show that isn't a sequel to Monogatari I end up hating it or dropping it

I'm proud that Trigger isn't number 1. I knew /a/ wasn't truly dead.

looking through studio production lists and i have seen multiple series from all of them. only one I'm aware of making consistent garbage is Bee Train.
