thats because of underexposure, many people ignore anything to do with warhammer / D&D (tabletop games in general)
because of nerd fear.

And there aren't that many good examples of settings as dark and hardcore fiction as 40K

Imagine a gruesome Slice of Life based on the aspects of the days in the life of a group of space marines over a few 1000 years as they go through the trials, or fighting in absolutely ridiculous conditions as scouts while still earning their armour. then the progression into being faced by increasingly insane situations in their careers.

And any anime the create would need to receive oversight, and likely wouldn't be able to change the fictional universe because GW wouldn't let them.
