NOTHING this season is "god" or even "great" tier. I'll not comments on your rankings or general taste, but this is easily one of the worst anime seasons I've seen in 12 years. in fact I've dropped every single show, not because they all suck, but because they're all so average i'd rather marathon after the season is over as nothing is worth watching real time.

First time in 12 years i didn't watch a single currently airing anime.

I don't bitch about the quality of seasons often. I think winter 2013 was the last time I was nearly as disengaged by a season as this one, back then I ended up watching one show I think. Chihayafuru season 2, I think, I ended up watching one or two others after the season was done.

This season is pure trash. The few shows I plan on watching eventually are average at best.

I watched pretty much every show last season for an episode or three. Ended up finishing 6. And re:Zero wasn't one of them (I actually dropped it on the 2nd to last episode, when the MC went from tragic deconstruction of the isekai protag to full on isekai protag)

heck, I've sampled every show airing this season in the hopes of finding something, anything, to watch. Found a couple of shorts, which were superior to the airing full length anime, but I don't usually watch shorts unless the season is done.

I'll probably try to watch drifters (the best show of the season), flipflappers, 3-gatsu, bloodivores (despite the piss quality low budget), tigermask, natsume, keijo!!!!!!, and occultic;nine. Or at least I'll try to watch them. They're the only shows I didn't want to kill myself while watching. While these shows are passable I haven't had the slightest desire to actually watch them real time. I noticed /a/ seems rather dead this season too. Indicating that there is a horde of others just like me who probably are disengaged from this garbage season.

My choices this season were pretty spot on. Hibike has been lackluster so far. Nothing really in danger of being dropped. I'm expecting Koe no Katachi to sweep in and take AOTY when the blu-ray drops next year.

First two episodes were meh, too many things, too fast, but gets better later on.

Why don't you want to try out Izetta (it has atmosphere that is similar to Sora no Woto), WWW.Working (comedic slice of life, new cast lets you dig into it without watching previous seasons), Fune Wo Amu (seinen with straight romance), Girlish number (Shirobako with bitchy MC).
I also like Hibikek and sports shows like Takkyuu and HQ, slices like Stella no Mahou with actual game developing and Udon no Kuni are good too, but I can see someone not being into that kind of shows.

This kind of threads triggers me somehow.
When the season felt horrible to me and was full of slices of life everyone told it was just me.
Now we have a great season (and it has slices of life too for moefags) and threads like this is full of whiny fuckers.
How?
