Yeah it was pretty great, m8, Megumi Hayashibara should sing every OP.

Looking forward to S2. I was initially disappointed when Imrealised that S1 wouldn't have much Yotaro so the next one should be based.

It could have cut out an entire episode or two out of the middle, and been better off for it.
There were several episodes in a row that were very much the same thing: "Struggling to find my voice, wish I could be my friend, wish he would stop squandering his talent, wish this girl would get off my dick."
It just kind of sat in that loop for a while, not building tension or exploring anything new.

It didn't really have any flaws worth mentioning, it hit the right notes in almost all areas. It's a character and plot driven series so they are hardly 'dry', and are in fact developed very well. It's just more mature in tone.
