I know that Naruto ended, but didn't the mangaka create a spin off series with Baruto. Also, Dragon Ball is as good as dead. DB Super is just Toei animation's attempt at milking DB. Akira Toriyama likes money so he sold his soul and played along. Is One Piece still going?

Series would be 2 parts. Part 1 will be about hard hard work and cutting the strings until serious enemies come along.

While we're talking about Battle Shounens, I really wish we had a purely martial arts/kung- fu series again with somewhat grounding in reality that didn't wind up as a superpower slug fest with either magic, advanced technology, pseudo super powers that pretend they can be used in real life but are full of shit, etc. (half the reason why is I've been an a 6 hour Ip Man marathon)

hopefully never, most of the series don't even battle much per episode anyway. Even if there were a fight to begin with, it would probably end in less than 5 movement average before some big intermission.

It goes beyond that. Even our oldest stories like the motherfucking Epic of Gilgamesh have traits we've associate with battle shounen. As long as Japan exists, it's gonna keep making those kinds of action adventure stories, even if some of the details change.
