I do hope they at least do a mini-series about sailor V and maybe even expanding the character before she joined the inner-senshi.

Toei will probably go all out now with crystal and go all the way in to StarS seeing as the third season finally got the show onto the right track.

At least that's what I thought of it.

From my experience, most people that still complain about Crystal don't even know S3 exists. S3 had some faults but the majority of it was really good.

I'm currently watching the first episode of Crystal season 3 right now. Season 1 was garbage but this might be better. I have a soft spot in my heart for S and I can't imagine it would be that easy to screw up. It's like screwing up the Dark Phoenix Saga. It requires a special kind of horrible (*cough* The Last Stand *cough*).

So I finished an episode of Crystal season 3. It's better than season 1 (which isn't saying much, but it's a start). They did a decent job visually and story wise of capturing the overall feel of S. The soundtrack is a little bit better but the music for the transformations and attacks are still very run of the mill, they don't have that same edge the originals did. Overall, I'd rather just watch S.

If I recall correctly they changed the director and all the staff, so it makes sense that the 3rd season is better. I read the mango a long time ago but always preferred the old anime. Maybe because I thought the girls where much more developed as characters there.

One thing I didn't like about Season 3 was the stock footage attacks. Seasons 1 and 2 did them in the actual locations.
