I don't think that's even remotely true though, moe tends to move slowly and not have a great deal in the way of plot. People with short attention spans would quickly become bored with most moe shows. Plus the reason they sell well is due not to general popularity but to the dedication of fans of the genre in Japan.

At any rate though it's completely irrelevant, whether or not moe is made for people with short attention spans has nothing to do with whether or not Space Dandy is for people with short attention spans.

Space Dandy fans should try out Flip Flappers this season. It's an excellently animated adventure show with a new and different world with gorgeous creative imagery each episode. It reminds me a lot of Space Dandy's best episodes.

Space Dandy was okay. There was a lot of variety between episodes which made it nice, but also very hit and miss. Sometimes the humor was dull, but other times quite on-point. Characters were unremarkable, but not unlikable. It was fine.
