7 episodes of fun with the magical tablet with slight and ever-increasing hints that the girl's world isn't actually real. She seizes on one of the hints at the end of Episode 7, then spends episodes 8 and 9 exploiting it on a quest to find the truth behind the world she lives in. End of episode 9, cut to view of her inside the ship and then the ship just as she discovers her world is a computer simulation.

Episodes 10 and 11, flashback to the dad and his quest to help his daughter survive the apocalypse.

Episode 12, the girl is shaken by the revelations and becomes despondent. Psychological introspection time. At the end of the episode there's a huge earthquake in the world, and she wakes up. The ship opens to show an earthlike but undeniably alien landscape. She takes her first step out, roll ED.
