At this point I think the season will end up with Natori finding out about the book of friends and promising Natsume to free him from that.

Hopefully it sells enough that we'll get a season 6. This season has a lot female oriented stuff and it has been a while since last season.

Nah that would be in S6. They have to cover the arc where Natsume meet's Natori's mentor first. After Taki's arc they will probably go back to the yokai chapters.

I buy it in English and that part isn't out yet, meaning it was pretty recent (like the last year at most). There's a tonne of single youkai chapters to go through yet.
The season will have Taki episode 5, a one off youkai 6-8 (one a Tanuma chapter) then maybe a two/three part 9-11 and 12 one off with some wrap up at the end.
