moe/slice of life = 4chan
Keionbu.
Poketo Monsuta.
>>148983991
>moe/slice of life=???
K-ON! or Lucky Star
>collectible monsters=???
Pokemon
>>148983991
Like a deconstruction? or something that uses its elements on its favor I guess
In moe/slice of life my bet would be in humanity has declined
On collectible monsters I don't think there is any. Maybe a little on the first yu gi oh?, since they explored the relationship and backstory of some monsters.
>>148983991
>moe/slice of life=???
>collectible monsters=???
The answer to both is Alien 9.
Also possibly Naru taru
>>148983991
K-On and pokemon obviously
>>148984389
I think you misunderstood what op is after.
>>148984310
I guess "deconstruction," but I don't like how that term is thrown around. I was just thinking "grimdark variant on an established genre."
>>148984310
>>148984364
>moe/slice of life=???
I can see humanity has declined fulfilling this role
>collectible monsters=???
and Narutaru fits closer to this
>>148984431
What are you after
What are we listing here? Overrated shit?
>>148984909
how much do you want to be spoon feed

>comparing don quixote to watchmen
Watchmen is pretty good but Don Quixote is an actual masterpiece. The fact that its humour is still so pointed today is incredible; Watchmen is a good read but not nearly as developed in its themes.
>>148985389
Nigu they are both deconstructions. Read the filename.
Also where am I comparing themDon quijote is not that good, it's decent but now the novelty weared off, through the reading you understand the kind of books and stories it coexisted with, and you can see why it would be engraved on the mind of people that read it at that time. Now it's packed with less punch since a lot of stories are alike, that drew inspiration from it making it dated. It's still good overall, but not a must, not anymore.Watchmen is boring tho.
>>148983991
moe/slice of life= School Days, maybe?
slice of life = watamote
How the fuck can you even deconstruct slice of life? Its literally just an imitation of the comedy and whims of real life. Making it any more realistic or dark will simply make it into a drama/thriller.
Also yall niggas are lame as hell for not mentioning digimon tamers.
>monster vs owner relationship
>pains and sorrow of losing your partner
>anger and rage affecting your partners
>pains of forcing your partner to evolve
>eventual seperation from your partner
>>148987577
>yall niggas
no
>>148987577
There are tropes in moe anime, and anything with tropes can be deconstructed. Azumanga Daioh is filled with material that wouldn't fly in a more realistic setting.
>>148983991
I got your Pokemons right here, OP.
This for Slice of Life.
No, really.
>>148983991
>collectible monsters=???
Digimon Tamers is pure monsterbattlekino.
>>148984862
Eva doesn't apply to either of those in the Mecha genre. There's far darker series and applying if real children had to pilot a mech has been a thing since Gundam.
>moe/slice of life = non non biyori
>collectible monsters = monster musume no iru nichijou
>>148983991
just looks like you like crappy sci-fi mixed into whatever genre, why is it hard for you to pick one for the others.
Battle shounen = Berserk
moe/slice of life = k-on
overrated shit = mushishit
>>148989849
>shonen
>seinen series
>>148989944
>seinen series
Not since 2010
>>148990012
Miura changed the magazine?
>>148989777
Nice trips, but I swear Non Non Biyori is just a straight-up comedy. Isn't it?
I wanna see a collectible monsters deconstruction with like slavery and animal abuse and shit.
>>148983991
Haruhi and Digimon Tamers?
>>148990128
Nobody on this board knows what the fuck deconstruction means. The word has become meaningless due to its overuse.
>slice of life
Oyasumi Punpun
>collectable monsters
Not /a/, but Shin Megami Tensei, which was technically doing it before Pokemon.
>>148990727
What does it mean? I tried reading up on it, but it makes no sense in the context /a/ uses it in.
