AKB48's music is shit, and the worst aspects of AKB0048 were all strongly tied into the fact that the show was connected to AKB48. Also, anime otaku don't appear to like AKB48 for the most part, so it's probably going to be an uphill battle to get them into it enough to buy.

I'll give it a shot, just like I do with most idol anime, though.
