Linux+GNU is not about being able to do what other operating systems can do. It's about everything being open source and available for anyone and everyone. If it means not having to pay money to use proprietary software then I would choose using Linux+GNU any day. Basically they removed Tracers initial pose because it was just an asshot and nothing else, and Blizard said that they didn't want Tracer to "Just" be sexy.

People started screaming bloody murder but it turns out that they were fine with the sexual aspect of it, but they just wanted to make it more playful and in-line with Tracers personality, which they did.

It especially ruins anime with high budget animation. The way SVP generates "new frames" more often than not it ruins the motion of many scenes as key frames get blured together, making things ease in and out in ways that they're not supposed to. This problem is made worse since most anime is animated on either "twos" or "threes", which means that every drawing lasts at least 2 or 3 frames. Plus no matter what settings you have there will always be artefacts caused when SVP can't interpolate the motion correctly.

Ask any animator who works with Frame by Frame and I can guarantee you none of them would advocate SVP.

It's like ordering a nice steak from a restaurant, but then drowning the entire thing in ketchup, you're ruining the meal.

60fps is important for games but it doesn't relate to the framerates films and TV shows run at.

I used to use KCP until recently, when it stopped working for no apparent reason. Switched to MPV. Configuration was a hassle but it plays fine.
