It was always over-the-top, but it wasn't nonsensical and batshit insane like this. It's practically a Bo-bobo fight at this point, minus the silly attack names. Everybody is just doing whatever the hell they want, with no precedent, and sometimes it works and sometimes another person gets to say "nuh-uh" and then it fails.

Maybe I'm wrong for expecting more out of Toriko, but I loved the series at one point. This is an unsatisfying mess and I can't wait for it to be over.
