It's my girlfriend's favorite anime. Her second favorite is Clannad, 3rd is Erased, 4th Sakurasou, and 5th Katanagatari.

Fucking terrible. I got memed into finishing it and it's probably the only series I legitimately regret wasting my time on.

The characters and comedy were mediocre and the ending was the best example of forced drama I've ever seen.

Thing is I really liked Angel Beats early on.

Eventually it just completely fell apart and the pacing was horrible.

I'm glad some people managed to enjoy it. I was laughing all through the last episode it go so bad.

I really liked it when I first watched it, but it was one of my first anime, I'm pretty sure I'd still like it if I were to rewatch it, but I'd notice the pacing and plot holes a lot more.
So I'll just leave it in my memory as it is.

Nowhere near as bad as /a/ makes it out to be, but not as good as its fans like to think it is.

Chronic pacing issues are it's biggest flaw. It had an interesting story to tell but tried to squeeze it into 1 cour when that just wasn't possible.

Music was topic tier though and its comedy and feels did hit its mark far more often than most anime in this genre.

Yeah, Angel Beats is one of those anime I'm afraid to rewatch because I watched it when I was relatively new to anime and had shittier taste. Maybe it was as good as I thought it was - I will never know.

I liked some scenes to be honest...
When annoying pink hair girl and this blue haired guy imagined how they would meet i the real world by him throwing a baseball through her window it actually got to me.
This is mostly noteworthy, because i didn't care at all for those 2 ut the scene still worked.
Overall 5/10 entry level stuff
