Not that anon, but it was shit. The fact that it had an absolutely amazing start only retroactively makes it look bad since it basically taunts us with how much potential it had wasted. Fuck, even the songs became stale and lackluster in the second half. It doesn't even have the glorious trainwreck to put it into a positive light. It was just shit all around.

Logos was the best aquarion since it took all the stupid zany parts of the first two series and practically put it into nearly episode.
The final fights were even better for how ridiculous they were.
Too bad no AKINO barring the final fights.

I still say that Walkure Trap had a few great songs that were heavily underused. Onyanoko girl, Hear the Universe, LOVE THUNDER GLOW, etc.

Satou's one of their most experienced directors, he's just never gotten off of Kawamori's leash for unknown reasons. Seriously, his debut in 1997 is the only thing he's directed that wasn't either part of a Kawamori franchise or a show that lost a director partway through production and needed a replacement. It's fucking weird, I've never seen anyone with a resume like that before.

The first two weren't even that good, and is not hard being a better show than EVOL. EVOL is just so bad it's easy to make Logos look good in comparison. And even then Logos lacks the good character design, music, and budget EVOL had.

tl;dr There is no best Aquarion, just one that is less shit. And all of them are shit.
