It's the Spice and Wolf music box with figure, marble plaque and glowing lightshow. A very rare item, but it looks similar in size to the collectable book.

Can anyone tell me how the novel reads? Does the guy have any good credentials in writing?

I hope I'm not expecting a well thought-out and written nyt best seller work and then I get this. I mean, I love the japanimation and character but that does not necessarily translate to this being a well-written novel.

To be honest with you, it reads damn well.
One of the few LN's I have read that I have actually suggested to others because it's not your typical nip self insert and actually carries a very interesting story. The author (or translators) have a very good vocabulary and he does well in writing descriptions as well as doing a good job with dialogue.

Rightstuf has been dead in the water for me. Amazon still shows that it will arrive on Wednesday. Hoping it is a numbered version and if the Rightstuf order pulls though that means one for keeping and one for selling in a few years.
